Why does this game have a mixed reviews all of a sudden you may ask?
All I can say is Bungie dropped the veil over their face and showed who they really were in the most recent State of the game (August 3rd 2023 for context). TLDR of it is we don't have the money and resources to do all of what our community wants meanwhile they are literally worth billions at this time. The devs basically have said were developing the game we want and ♥♥♥♥ what you the community wants. The game has become a micro-transaction hell and us the community are sick of paying top price for little to no good content. The hours steam has recorded isn't what i've actually played especially in consideration with Destiny 1 and the Battlenet launcher. This game has only gone down hill after Forsaken Witch Queen was probably the 2nd best DLC in this game but ever since than the game has only deteriorated.
Unless Bungie pulls the heads out of their asses I don't recommend the game.
