I got KSP at last year's Black Friday sale but I had it on my Steam Wishlist for many years. I never understood why I waited so long to get it.

Everybody who's interested in science and engineering must get it. Everybody who's interesting in puzzles and figuring out stuff should get it. It's a puzzle in so far as you have to build your own rockets and shoot them up into the sky, fly them to distant other objects, land them, come back, etc. To be able to successfully launch a rocket you might have to test various items and configurations and see what works. The base game can easily expanded with mods, the sky is the limit.

It's challenging at times, it's frustrating at times, but overall it's just fun all the time.

Early Access Review
I don't have much to say about Descenders, just so much:

It's an absolute blast!

so far I've only played for an hour and I've initially had problems with the steering sensitivity, I shouldn't have to turn my wheel 720 degrees or more to go around a corner. However, after I figured it out it's been a lot of fun.

fun stuff .. seems the program recognised that I'm building a city really badly, so even with random disasters set to a minimum, my town was hit with two earthquakes in 5 minutes and then about 12 tsunamies every minute .. even after I disabled random disasters. :D

In no other game did I spend so much time and money. The servers are shutting down soon for whatever reasons, probably poor management decisions. However, I want to end it with a recommendation. Should the game ever resurface again, go and check it out.

I've been sick lately so I wanted to playing something that's really boring. I've never been interested in fishing even though a lake is just 15 metres away from my computer. Now, three days after I started playing the game I've totalled 39 hours and bought some fishing equipment for the real thing. The game got me hooked.

Raceroom Racing Experience was my first racing sim.

I noticed R3E when steam presented me an ad for the DTM 1992 pack, featuring the Mercedes 190E. Since my first car was a Mercedes 190E and I've been watching the DTM since 1992 I had to get the game and DTM 1992 pack.

My first steps in the game were kinda rough. I only had an xbox controller and other than that no clue about racing.

I went to the Sector3 forums and got immediate help. Not just the usual Buy a wheel kind of advice. Also advice on how to play with a controller.

Ever since my first experiences with R3E I got Assetto Corsa, Project Cars, iRacing and a wheel.

People generally seem to complain about the payment system. I don't really understand what the problem is. For Assetto Corsa or Project Cars you have to pay about $50 on steam when it's not on sale and then you still have to buy DLC if you want to.

R3E is free to play unlike the other sims. Ok, the free version only comes with a handful of cars and no real life tracks, but you can buy every single track and car individually or in packs. In iRacing you also have to buy cars and tracks individually but on top of that you have to subscribe to use their service.

R3E's multiplayer mode has been suffering in the past, however, it's constantly being improved. My personal experience wasn't very good in the beginning. I had high ping and was constantly ghosting. That issue has been fixed and in the last few online races I haven't had any issues at all.

Raceroom or Sector3 is constantly working on new content, improving the physics, and working on fixing multiplayer issues.

It might not be as shiney as Project Cars is, might not have a multiplayer base like iRacing has, but it has a sound which makes the cars sound like cars, has good physics, force feedback, official licenses for DTM, WTCC, ADAC GT Masters and a growing user and fan base.

I have played pinball games since the days of David's Midnight Magic on my Commodore 64. Ever since I have played every pinball game I could get my hands on on every computer plattform available.
My quest has ended now, I have found the best pinball machine ever!
