I love this game so much, it's like a mix between Rust, Raft, and ARK. It's your typical looting, survival game with workbenches, upgrading your base and creating better items over time, but I really enjoy the underwater and NPC factions aspect. It's still quite buggy since it's in beta currently, and I noticed that a lot of people say it's no more than 25 hours of gameplay, but I am personally a slow game explorer who also works outside of playing steam games, and I haven't even explored half the map on single player. And as a female, it's nice to actually have the option to select your sex and have character customization. I'm excited for the future updates when they add more biomes, a better trading system and storymode, and I hope that it continues to improve over time. :)

I really enjoy this game, and in fact prefer it over the Sims 4. You don't need multiple expansions to enjoy the game, though adding more makes it fun after over 200 hours of playing.

Some things I find are a bit annoying is that the more expansion packs you have, the slower the game gets, even though I have a somewhat beefy computer.

Still recommend it though, an old game that works so well and has numerous careers to pick and choose from, and it doesn't get boring very often.
