I fell in love with this game as soon as I first loaded in, but I wanted a little bit of an experience before writing a review. Probably the first thing that will suprise you will be your character creation. There are many new options with your character customization. Also you can choose the faction. I would recommend to choose the one that has the best benefits for you. You'll find out later. When you are able to move with your chracter for the very first time, the first thing that blows your mind is the graphics. Details of the enviroment, characters and weapons are just mindblowing in comparison with the old series of mount and blade.

Speaking about the fight
First thing that you need to get used to, is that when enemy is attacking, you need to move your mouse in the direction of an attack and block it by cliking right button of your mouse ( default ) And I love it. It makes fights harder for you to win in case you don't use the shield as a protection.

I would love to talk about tournaments and the arena aswell.
Tournamets and fights in the arena are definetly harder to win. When you want to join some tournament, I recomend to buy some gear first ( body armor, shoulder armor, gloves and boots ) Because you will fight with it in the arena. The only thing you will recieve randomly, are the weapons. So from the beggining, tournaments will be so hard to win. You will fight against lords with high tier armor and your damage will be low. I also need to mention the bets. You do not even have to bet any money, if you want to with the price. Yes, if you are good enough to win the entire tournament, you'll get horses, parts of body armor and weapons as the winning price, that you can sell later for really high price, or you can use it for yourself. Of course, you can bet for a price to increase your earnings and become rich faster but it's risky. Bet wisly :)

As you join the faction you like the most, the real fun is just about to start. Lords will create an armies that you can join in for the battle. You will raid villages, castles and fight your enemies. This is the possibilty for you to get your first castle aswell. Before joining an army, I recommend to buy really big amount of food because those "crusades" will take days. Obviously you can leave the army and go buy food in the near villages and cities, but it is better to be prepared. I recommend to rectruit as meny soldiers as you can. The more soldiers you have, the highier is the chance for you to win many important fights.

Probably the last affair are the perks.
From the start, you will be able to choose what your parents did as a job, you will choose what features did you have as a child and later as a teenager. That will affect your perks. For example if you choose that you loved animals as a child, your "riding" perk will increase. That means that you can buy faster horses and that means an advantage in battles. Again, choose wisly :)

So that will do it for the review. Game has it's mistakes, but do not be strick. It is just in early acces so far and there are updates coming each day. So sometimes it will crash or your fps will drop ( usually fps drops happen when you siege a castle ) but these are just 2 things that I disslike. Overall I can only say, that it is woth 40€ ( actually 50€ but I had a 10% discount because I own older mount and blade series ) and most importantly, it was woth waiting :) enjoy
