Dome Keeper is such a satisfying game and I wanna tell you why.

!!! The sound design in this game is impeccable. There are so many small details that could be easily missed but just to list a few I love:
- The resources you dig up make sound when they collide with each other or walls while you carry them and all of them have a very pleasant ring to them
- If there's a storm outside your dome, when lightning hits it there's a satisfying FOOM sound that is accompanied by a little rumble if you're playing controller.
- The music is intermittent so when you hear it come up it really hits different and feels special.

I could go on but those are some of my favorites so far, all the sounds are pleasant to experience and well designated.

!!! The art and design of the game are beautiful. The game knows what it wants to be and does it well. The pixelated style really pops where it wants to and is very easy on the eyes.

!!! The digging in this game really satisfies the same part of your brain that enjoys digging in Minecraft, and it really makes leveling up using the resources feel like a treat. Will you choose to move faster overall or be able to carry a heavier load? Or maybe you'll just dump all your resources into your drill and be able to break through anything in your path in no time. The choice is yours! You will, of course, need to balance leveling up your mining equipment with upgrading your dome itself for protection but because it's a roguelike, you'll probably try a few variations on what you prioritize and it might change based on the circumstances of the run.

!!! GADGETS AND DISCOVERIES: I am NOT going to spoil anything here but there are devices you can find called gadgets that will VASTLY help you on your runs and each in a very unique way. And the best part is that you can choose to keep one gadget if you die on a run so it can help you from the get-go on your next run! Not only are there gadgets but there are also some very very cool random things you will discover while you mine that can also help you along your way.

!!! Customizeability : The game has many ways to play and there are options to unlock for larger maps that take longer to play as well as different dome types and ways to defend said dome; AND there are modifiers you can unlock to make the experience more tailored to what you want (My personal favorite is "longer wave timers", it makes the waves of monsters more spaced out but it makes the waves themselves tougher) and so this is really a game you can get into a rhythm with and then play how you like.

My final remarks are that Dome Keeper is a very fun roguelike base-defender that will definitely appeal to you if you like that hypnotizing satisfaction of mining in games like Minecraft and the team who did the sound work for this game deserves an award.

Beautiful game with a really in-dept story and a lot of options for how to play. You can put together your party based on who interests you and then you can stat them however you need to. There is also a place to reallocate stats and such throughout the game which is very nice, especially since I would say that this game has a learning curve as well as somewhat of a difficulty jump towards the end depending on your party comp. The necromancy is fun but there's only two necromancy summons and neither are the traditional zombie or skeleton, but the second one you get later on is pretty cool. There is a map location that I won't spoil but that will definitely appeal to anyone who loves necromancy/goth vibes.

Overall, the game had some parts that made me wanna pull my hair out but It was a beautiful experience all the same and I would definitely play through it all again.

P.S. Get Teleportation as early and on as many characters as possible, you're welcome~

Sucker for Love is an absolute gem. There is so much heart and soul in this game and I am genuinely at a loss for words about how much I enjoyed playing it. You get to woo elder gods and perform rituals all while experiencing all things eldritch and cute and it's a dream come true. The story is beautiful and funny and while the game has sexual innuendo, it isn't outright lewd. The music is amazing and the art is gorgeous. I played this game and recorded it for my channel and when I was done, I had a real moment of, "Oh it's over now..." with that pang of sadness that lets you know you just finished playing something special. Thank you so much to everyone who worked on this game and I cannot wait to see what you come out with next.

Do yourself a favor and PLAY THIS GAME!

Inscryption is truly a masterpiece. I hesitate to say "mostly a deckbuilder" because the game goes so much deeper, but on the surface and for a lot of the gameplay, deckbuilder is the correct tag for it. But it is so stylized and the overall feel of the game is a delightful mix of creepy/foreboding and something homey in the depths of the dark mysteries within. The sound design alone deserves an award and the storytelling is amazing.
I will definitely be replaying this one a lot. I give it the highest recommendation and wish everyone involved with the game the very best.

Best of luck player...

Hunt: Showdown is an interesting gem of a game. I will highlight the reasons I love it because honestly it took me a while to understand what about the game had me so drawn in by it and maybe this will give you some insight into the game as well:

- First and foremost: SPOOKY COWBOYS, that is the theme and overall vibe I'd say. It's got that western feel
mixed with just enough eldritch horror to keep you fascinated

- You can play in a Squad of up to 3 ppl and the matches don't have more than 12 players total if I'm to
understand correctly and this makes the whole "Battle Royale" thing a lot more manageable. It's not you
vs. 49 other people, it's you and an optional squad against 9 to 11 folks and I appreciate it being more
approachable in that way.

- You are rewarded for playing smart. The game is HEAVILY sound based, so sneaking and not alerting others to your location as you collect clues is imperative. I have been sneaking along and heard another player sprinting by and been able to kill them simply because I was being cautious. The tactics could be similar to something like Rainbow Six BUT your teammates can revive you, you can burn other hunter's corpses to help prevent them from coming back if you take the time to get a fire item, there are traps and neat mechanics like traits that essentially give your hunter unique advantages on the playing field like being able revive your teammate from a slight distance away instead of having to go up to their body (Necromancer Trait, you get it at player level 69, and that's amazing), or the trait that makes it so animals that normally would alert others to your location if you got too close are less skittish around you so you don't have to be as careful, etc etc.

- Between leveling up and unlocking weapons and traits and such, I honesty have not gotten tired of this game even after what is, at the time of typing, about 150hrs. of gameplay.

Now as for things that I feel should be mentioned but aren't necessarily positives,

- If you have a friend and add them to your team (so two of you are wanting to join a match) you CANNOT add a third rando player, you either have two friends who want to join you or your stuck playing as a duo in matches, which isn't terrible but isn't great either compared to three. This is something I really wish they'd change but the game does seem to romanticize "Hunter Duos" in some of the background lore etc so idk if they'll change it.

- It's still a FPS. Some people are just gonna shoot you and kill you before you have time to react. It sucks and it can be discouraging especially since when a hunter dies, they are gone and you have to get a new one and start over leveling them (this isn't as detrimental as it may sound but it still can be a bummer) If you don't like shooters and ahving to get accustomed to new guns and dying and starting over then this might not be a game you'd enjoy as much, but honestly if you queue as a trio with randoms, it can actually be a lot of fun (mute communication if you have to, I know some people can be mean, but I've only run into a small handful of them, and not NEARLY as many as I saw in games like Overwatch to be honest) and watching them will teach you how to go about the game properly (the tutorial kinda misses the mark on teaching some of the more nuanced aspects of the gameplay).

- Occasionally the matchmaking times and party-up times can be a tad long, especially late late at night like 3am or 4am if you're trying to do squads. Solo matches and quicklplay still seem to get you in a game pretty quickly.

Overall, I adore Hunt: Showdown even though at a glance it wasn't a game I was initially sure about. It's got all the tactics of games like R6, without a lot of the garbage nonsense that come in "Hardcore FPS". It's challenging, rewarding, and really fun.

And most importantly:

~ SPOOKY COWBOYS ~

The game is similar to Risk of Rain 2 meets Minecraft/Valheim although pretty watered down. My friends and I played for one evening (ended up on easy) but we made it through all the progression we could. The long gae is. and this will be ***SPOILERS*** so be aware past this point:

You get and upgrade materials until you find the rarest metal and make tools and such out of it as you beat waves of enemies each night. Wood to Iron to Mithril to Adamantite. All the while you get upgrades and such from chests using gold and etc. It is a ton of fun with friends but you will inevitably hit the point where you've done everything and you're just killing most stuff with relative ease. But it's an amazing free game and I highly recommend it for a silly and fun game night with friends. Plus there are so many memey descriptions for the items XD

Necrobarista is gorgeous and witty from the first hour of gameplay I have experienced. The aesthetic is breathtaking and the music is absolutely wonderful. I literally have only love to share for this game and everyone who worked on it. If you love Necromancy, story-rich games, memes, and/or lovable characters, add this game to your library and play it as soon as you can. If, by chance, you are interested in seeing my experience and get a taste for the story, check out my first episode playing it at: https://youtu.be/tsfq0EMMfjU
(This is important though! I could only tell in parts, but my capture software was a little spotty that day so any lessened graphics quality or not smooth animation is on my recording end, the game itself is gorgeous and runs like a dream)

This game already had me interested with it's art style, but when they added a Necromancy class, I bought the game right then and there. Still in early access right now but I am thoroughly enjoying it. This is not a game you can just plow through carelessly either, you'll have to strategize and learn how each character plays and choose your winnings wisely. Lots of fun, definitely recommend and cannot wait to see what else they add.

This is a good FREE game. Personally speaking, the zombies themselves get a little boring to kill after a while; however it's funny and a good time killer. I don't know why there are so many complaints about the ads, they are there on occasion when you open your menu but one simple click and it's out of your way and it's not like a video or anything, just a reminder that you can purchase the "PC edition" to get more out of the game in some aspects. It's a free game people, if it bothers you that much and you enjoy the game then just pay the $10.

Iratus Lord of the Dead is everything I could have asked for in a Necromancy game <3

- I have not played Darkest Dungeon myself, but it plays very, very similarly to that game from what I have seen of it.

- The game is difficult and your minions will die (game tells you this right from the start), you will have to experiment to see which minions work well together and play around with buffs, debuffs, and other abilities.

- Your minions level, but you (Iratus) level as well and you can put points into different skill trees based on how you want to play. One skill tree gives you spells to directly do damage to enemies, one makes it so you find more parts to craft more minions and can help make some of them more efficient, etc etc.

I have played over 30 hours of this game and came back to purchase the supporter pack and check when the full release date is because I love this game. I may have slight bias because I love Necromancy, but this game is 10/10 from me and I absolutely recommend it for anyone wanting to raise the dead themselves.
