It's pretty good, but around your 3rd playthrough you'll start to notice the game is not really that hard, you just sucked at first.

As someone who has had this game since Jan 2016 I gotta say this game has come a long, long way. There are many reasons why this game is one of the best of all time but I'll try to sum it up as short as possible. 1, It's scary. Now some people might disagree with that but to alot of people this game can be terrifying, from stalkers to ghost leviathans theres always something to be afraid of and keep you on your toes. 2, It's beautiful. The graphics in this game are simply amazing, and if you happen to have a VR it's even better. Your first night you really realize how pretty this game is and how amazing the lighting is. 3, there is endless playability. Being a sandbox survival game there is of course going to be a lot to do, but even once you have it all, theres still things to do. You can explore wrecks, jump into the void with your prawn suit and get eaten by big nasty creatures, and even feed a reaper a peeper. Those are just some things out of many you can do if you ever, suprisingly, get bored of this game. Even when you finish the game, the second playthrough will feel almost like a different game. Your first playthrough will be more story based as you will uncover the secrets the world has to offer you and learn more about the planet. I will not spoil any of the story as it is something you need to experience yourself. All you need to know is the story is amazing, which is something we have not seen much in a sandbox survival game. The second playthrough however, chances are you know what you're doing after the 40 hours you've spent on your first playthrough. You have different goals, maybe instead of living in a sea base you wanna live in a mobile cyclops base, maybe instead you wanna build a massive farm or aquatic zoo. Whatever it is you wanna do, the point is you can do it. Theres endless things to do. That raps up my review, I highly encourage you play this game as it is one of the best games I have ever touched. I would pay hundreds just to wipe my memory so I could play this game for the first time again. One thing I would like to add is my true playtime is somewhere between 250 - 300 hours. For some reason my hours reset after the game fully launched about 9 months ago. Have a nice day/night and don't let the reapers bite.
