AARRRRGGGGHHHH LIVE YOUR BEST PIRATE LIFE YO HO!

its very scare

I've seen a lot of videos on this game, and it looks to be alot of fun, However it runs like crap, i mean my computer isnt amazing but i can run modded skyrim with only a little stutter, but this game is a complete wreck when it comes to loading times, and lag overall.

I downloaded clean speed mod, remove foliage, and even compressed texture sizes so it would load faster and be less laggy, but nope, it did not help too much,

Honestly the game is fun, and it provides alot of content to play with, BUT it runs like complete crap if you have a good computer or something then go and buy and play it, but fact is they should've optimized the engine and fixed glitches rather than translating new languages

this went out of early access a little too early in my opinion however there is still a lot there to play if your willing

One of if not considered the best total war games in the series, Rome total war set a very a high bar for the rest of the series, and honestly had some of the best mechanics in total war to date, and additionally doesn't feel like your giving an arm and a leg in DLC just to get the game to a functioning state

i will admit its definitely not perfect, the graphics while okay arent that great compared to future titles, the diplomacy ingame kinda sucks ass as NPC factions are kind of dumb in that they will betray you even if your best friends, and overall are kinda retarded ((i mean this is total war in all games they are dumb))

I think that this game has some of the arguably best siege battles within the franchise, the higher leveled cities are absolute juggernaugts to take down and the games provide good and interesting ways of taking them down, such as catapults, Siege towers, Battering rams, ladders, sapper points. It allows for good overall ways of taking down your enemies

A nice feature as well is that you can build as much as you want within the cities, and can even go onto a map and visit the cities themselves and see all the cool and pretty buildings, while the graphics arent amazing they hold up very well too this day
Pros:
Solid siege battles
pretty good battle AI(not the greatest but not horrible))
Good empire management
Good lategame((atleast for Roman factions))

Cons:
Diplomacy is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥((just get trade agreements and ignore the rest))
The other factions honestly arent that great and dont have good lategames
can feel sluggish lategame((although this happens with every total war
AI is not that good at stuff other than fighting really
City management is a bit limited

Overall I'd reccommend it to anyone wanting to enter the total war series, if its on sale then i highly suggest you buy it and expierence what one of the best total war games out there plays like

Hands down the Best Paradox game out right now, The dlc is actually segmented up to where if you don't wanna play as a muslim, dont buy sword of Islam, Dont wanna play a merchant republic? don't buy the republic DLC, its honestly the best Paradox game with dlc ♥♥♥♥

Now dont get me wrong the game may appear expensive but here is a hot tip

NEVER BUY UNIT PACKS, AND NEVER BUY THE CONTENT PACKS, OR MUSIC PACKS
seriously do not!!! its a massive waste of big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money. you could also get better music from mods

shield pack maybe and the portrait packs are if you like the art or not i suggest buying them because having only arabic or only one group of white europeans.

All the other paradox games lock away VERY important mechanics and other ♥♥♥♥, EU4, HOI4, Stellaris? all these have dlc where if you dont get it, good luck the game is about 50% ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Ck2 base game is actually playable! Not the best thing, and variety is a bit lacking, but the other ones are absolute ♥♥♥♥ without them

i played this for a while it was free for like 2 days left so i tryed it out LOVED IT but then after the 2 days i couldnt play anymore and it turned out i had to buy it i love this game so i checked the price IT COSTS ALOT OF MONEY but we cant have everything for free so i rate this game pretty good 9.2 out of 10 there is this one game breaking glitch where around one of the final levels you can no longer move but i think they fixed it and love the game little hard but all games need challenges tip- EASY EQUALS HARD MODE TOO EASY EQUALS NORMAL MODE so yes i suggest you buy the game but i hope they lower the price down to atleast 8.99 or 9.49 would be a good cost for it i love this game alot please support it so this can expand its reaches even further also the lvling up system is pretty good you can lvl up automaticly by spending food there are few other resources other then food like industry science and dust they all have different uses unlike other games in this genre it will always surprise you with something new like maybe a room of monsters or a chest a another survivor tip- IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH FOOD IN MULTIPLAYER AND FIND A SURVIVOR KEEP EM ALIVE SO IF YOU DIE THEY CAN BE USED LIKE A EXTRA LIFE SO YOU WONT HAVE TO QUIT or a merchant and a few other things. everytime you open a new door it kinda counts as a new turn you get more resources (EXCEPT DUST YOU GET DUST FROM KILLING ENEMIES) and then getting to the exit is a stressful thing if there are unlit rooms they will flood out enemies tip-USE THE FASTEST PERSON YOU HAVE TO GET THE CYRSTAL YOU START WITH OR YOU WILL MOST LIKELY DIE so good luck on your journey and have a nice day
