An amazing game. This was the first souls game I've ever played, never touched a souls-like game before this either and I was taken by surprise by how good it was. I spent several hours in game just grinding souls while also learning the mechanics myself.

I was an idiot and managed to brace past the tutorial at the beginning of the game lol, so I was thrown in with no idea on how to play the game and learned it all by myself.. it just added onto the challenge of the game. From epic boss fights, dying several times to the same enemy, and the overall suffering.. I would give this a 10/10. It didn't disappoint me and I highly recommend this to anyone debating on buying it.

This game really proves a challenge to those who are just beginning and have no clue what to do, that's how it was for me and I felt like giving up.. until I learned some of the mechanics, picked up on tricks and tips from the messages placed on the ground. I've made a good stance for myself in game and have improved a lot from where I used to be. So it's not completely impossible for beginners. Just make sure to look at messages before engaging in a new area and listen to them carefully, some prove to be helpful and the rest are lies.
