Great game, love being able to see parts of the country I have not before. The only thing is that I wish new states weren't locked behind paywalls, as that is literally what the whole game is about lol.

After not playing Trove for some months now, I decided to return to it. Little did i know, my character had somehow been magically removed. Instead of actually being able to return to my character ) who had a lot of progress, items, classes, etc..) it prompted me to make a new character. I have contacted support to figure out that I was not the only one to have this problem. Instead of being given a range on when the situation would be fixed, they simply said,

"Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

This issue is caused by a technical problem that the game team is currently working on. We plan to restore affected accounts by loading a backup of a previous stable state. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exact ETA of when this restoration will take place; as we want to ensure that everything is restored to its prior state.

Please note that the latest progress made in-game when the account is reset will be lost.
This includes any purchases made during that time. We are unable to refund credits or grant items that were lost during the restoration period. If you wish to keep your current progress, please let us know, and we will cancel the restoration of your account."

This basically means that there is no telling when I would be able to play the game again, or if I can I would possibly lose the majority of my stuff. The sad thing is that the game is not that bad, it is just the lack of confidence in the support that ruins it for me.

Fun to pass the time by, has great potential

Unturned is one of the best games I played on Steam but I would recommend playing this game with friends as this is a much better experience.
