Hello there, at the moment i'm fairly new to 'Steam' and i'm spending hours on Train Simulator 2015 and i'm enjoying every minuet.
I'm an ex Licensee of 32 years, having had 7 'Pubs' over that time around the Wakefield and Dewsbury area of West Yorkshire, i'm a 'people' person and love dealing with the general public and I now work as a 'Customer Host' for 'Transpennine Express' and i'm based in Manchester Piccadilly working the Expresses out of Manchester Airport to either Glasgow or Edinburgh mainly the late afternoon or early evening Expresses to either of those Cities then working an early morning Express back the day after.
I do occasionally still work Expresses on the 'Transpennine' route between Manchester and York, but not to Newcastle as I used to, and I can confirm that all the characteristics that are included in 'Steams' games/scenarios are a true representation of the real journey ie: the rocking cab view over turbulant track, the in cab noises and the sounds that some Loco's/Units emit, flange squeal etc are perfect.
