OOOOHoooohOoOoOooohhhhHHHhhhH Elden Ring!

Very well scripted and directed so far, great casting and actors (MM!), beautiful game. Intriguingly realistic walking hazards, hope those don't become tedious. Lots of thematic depth as well, at least early on.

Hard because I'm old, but it's a great game. Confers a great feeling of accomplishment when defeating a challenging enemy or obstacle.

A wonderful and moving game about death, memory, and family. Short and sweet.

Faily accurate representation of Nevada/Mojave desert coupled with the excitement of the Fallout setting. The "return to the Wild West" aspect of Fallout pairs very well with the Vegas appeal to boomer nostalgia for a very believable setting. Far from perfect game (combat leaves a lot to be desired as complexity goes) but nevertheless quite enjoyable and immersive.

An engaging challenge, while making vast improvements in character motion over the previous Dark Souls games. Forbidding environments and deadly enemies with an enormous selection of weapons and good variety in viable character classes. PvP, though prone to certain abuses by players looking to grief, is nevertheless deeply enthralling. The game also rewards replay, either from scratch or continuing with the same character in New Game +. The story is told obliquely, which adds to the mystery of Lothric, but detective work and careful observation pay off with fascinating insights, even when definitive answers cannot be found. Highly recommended.
