The campaign left more to be desired, I thought it would be great if it was everything they promised. 2 years later and there has been not a peep of campaign DLC or expansion, literally nothing. At this point, I invested in a half finished campaign that would not become anything. I wanted to love it, but with no support or further campaign to play I cant say much more than it's not worth 60 bucks.

I wanted to like this game, I love Dragon Ball and especially Dragon Ball story mode games.

MKB controls are terrible on default. Even when using controller it seemed like it kept being unresponsive.
Tutorial mission is completely worthless and all the actual tutorials are locked behind a couple of menus in the main menu. You cant change controls in any menu other than the title screen/main menu.
No ultrawide suport or 60 FPS in 2024.
AI counters all your combos, instantly counters, and doesn't flinch whenever it doesn't feel like it.
I have never been this infuriated trying to get through the first few missions of a game before.
I've played the older games, all the way back to the PS2 Budokai games and they felt infinitely more responsive.
Refunding this game and emulating the old ones, not worth my time to learn.

The game is great and the community greater, still, ♥♥♥♥ sony, my original review below.

"If the Devs are forced by Sony to push the PSN account linking then a vast number of Helldivers will be lost and the game will be looking down the barrel of a gun. There aint any hope if Sony gets their way with this trashy behavior."

Buggy mess with a multitude of MP problems, at least campaign works mostly.
