I'm not angry with you, I know you probably thought things would never get better and that you'd never feel loved or fulfilled. You couldn't imagine a future with anyone else, and you couldn't imagine a future alone. You probably felt like there was just no point anymore if things didn't seem like they were going to work out for you. Maybe you would've discovered a new reason for living; maybe not, no one could tell the future. I just wish you'd held out a little longer and reached out to people for help. I'm not faulting you, I just miss you, and I hope you aren't hurting anymore.

I miss you buddy. I wish you had talked to us, maybe somebody could've helped. But I think you had your mind made up a long time ago and were just stalling for years, hoping that maybe you would change your mind and that things would get better. I know your problems with Emily really got to you, and any rejections following that were especially hard to bounce back from. You wanted to find love, but were just never satisfied with anyone you ended up with. I don't think you ever got over her, and I don't think you ever really wanted or expected to.
