Honestly, I think this game is more than just a game- the amazingly smart art style, the unexpected yet absurd plot twits, the honest and detail considered worldviews- all of above had made this into a successful literature experience. The vaguely expressed hollowness, sadness, and loneliness are building a crumbling yet standing world makes the story seems even more alive- for a split second I thought this game is implying something in reallife, (maybe it is), but I rather think it is just part of Measurehead's trick. After all, Measurehead just better in every way.

I would consider this game as a MASTERPIECE level CRPG. You don't get to find much in the market, and ZA/UM had shown how it should be done- and they pushed the standard to another level. I've never played any CRPG like this- with amazing arts and beautifully written story. Yes, you don't have much exciting fight/battle system in this game, the best (or the closest) you can do is talk back to that little bastard Cuno, with a dice check of course. Anything you want to do, you need to get a dice check first- this reminds me of those COC TRPG I used to play with friends, and that isn't something you can easily mimic, but only with true open world and detailed character designs can evoke those feelings. Cheers, ZA/UM, I look forward to the next game :>

Last but not lease: 康米代表失敗。 Commies will be banished.
