Abandoned.

Let me just start off this review by stating that I have been nothing but supportive of this game since before it was even launched. I was so hyped as the game came out a few days after my birthday and was basically my own little present being the big Warhammer nerd I am. I have put in all the free time I have into playing this game and have tried to support Fatshark since release. I played the beta, gave feedback when possible, bought about 75% of the cosmetics all just to hopefully watch this game become something bigger than just a game. To possibly become a legendary mark on the Warhammer world and gaming, but as of January 24th I can no longer say that I can support this game in its current state. It's not because of the crashes or because of the gameplay loop getting stale. But merely because of the lies / empty promises that Fatshark has told the community. The "open letter" that dropped the day before my review sealed it for me. As a community we were promised full crafting and other mechanics that have seemingly just been removed without any good reason, or at least any reason that has been told to us. Which is okay; first time; shame on me you know? So I hoped and kept supporting even with complete silence from the Fatshark other than a promise for key features by the years end. It did not happen. So how do they respond? A corporate-esque message summed up in a few words as "Sorry that we released a game that was not ready and took your time and money anyway but don't worry! We'll take our time adding the things we promised in ehhh a few months? Thanks for playing!" Which is completely unacceptable. I love this game so much. The atmosphere, the gameplay, the overall feel of the game is phenomenal but I won't support a game that lies to its community just to turn around and give us a empty apology (where they don't apologize) For now my review is a negative. It may change if it gets the support from others it so desperately needs. But I won't be one of them until it's been done. Because after all, it's already been said.
