Pros:

-Excellent map design
-Excellent stealth system
-Excellent story
-Every decision/action has consequences
-Flexible gameplay to suit any playstyle: violent, stealthy, lethal, non-lethal, diplomatic, etc
-Augmentations are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool
-Cyberpunk
-Sunglasses built into your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face how cool is that?

Cons:
-OK gunplay
-Only like 3 animations for NPCs to do ever
-You never asked for this.

9/10 Near perfect game

Expanding on the lore of Fallout 1 & 2, combined with improved mechanics of Fallout 3, New Vegas is the best fallout game to date. Obsidian having staff that worked on the original 2 really worked in their favor as Fallout New Vegas's story is actually good unlike the whole "find your relative" garbage Bethesda seems to ♥♥♥♥ out. Unfortunately Bethesda aren't too happy about this game being better than Fallout 3, which leads to little to no reference to the game by Bethesda. Long story short though, if you enjoy open world rpgs, decent gunplay, a chance to diplomatically solve almost any situation, and a fantastic modding community. This (popular, yet severly underrated) game is for you
