This is a pleasant gemstone in the rough sandy shores of farming and cozies. I assumed it would be a Harvest Moon-a-like, but much of the game involves exploration and ruins(dungeons) filled with easy puzzles. There is a lot of gathering materials during your wanderings, and can feel pretty grindy...its a charming game though, and overall pretty fun.
A couple minor gripes on my part is that the crops grow too fast, seems like it takes 1 or 2 days for anything to come to fruition. it would feel more enduring if it took at least a few days or variations on different kinds of plants...
I enjoyed being mocked by old man Herbert, who sells the legal rights to various professions. However by the time you master your professions he offers a grudging respect
I enjoyed my time with this game, and can recommend it with most of my heart intact

It's mediocre in my eyes...pretty good but nothing too special, a decent farming game
However I found as an experience it is kind of bland
There is no romance system as all the NPC's are talking animals...
Bestiality, you say? Please no

I found that giant frog to be quite majestic

It's a solid farming life game; in fact the Indonesian developers seem to know many of the best parts about what is loved by what Harvest Moon-started- fans and the awareness in their craft of this genre is readily apparent.
It's not saccharine, the style is quite Disney in graphics and character portraits...a mermaid storyline amplifies this trait, and it can feel kind of refreshing...
The amount of upgrades and small-big goals, and since the latest big patch 1.1 is pretty huge.

Tool upgrades
Skill Leveling
House Ups
Farm Buildings
Livestock and Seed unlocks
Mining
Museum completion
Altars completion
Bug Catching
Fishing
Crafting
Cooking
Overall Town Rankings which unlocks some of the above
The biggest pool of NPCs, with giftgiving, I've encountered in any farming sim to date
Romance and non-romance cutscenes plethora
etc....

There is a sizeably large following of fruitcakery in the community...which seems common for this kind of game, as social and moral meltdowns continue...like Japanese nuclear reactors...

End-game seems very much to be strive in designing the most artistic or impressive farm

It is a good game, I just think they kind of go overboard with the addition of a 2nd farm area Underwater...as in they seem to be adding TOO much..a personal opinion

And that being said, It really is a joy even in the vein of making a piece of art, in building this canvas of decorated home, farms, and crafted+bought items, buildings...Coral Island is better at this decor-frenzy than most in its niche; their Discord seems packed with inspiring designs

Terribly ugly and saccharine game with some mildly addictive farming/life sim elements being its only good point...the only reason I kept playing it, that along with a sense of duty after a couple dozen hours. It was good riddance and off HD forever once I had beaten the story and done most of it. Grew to hate the whole feel of the game after a while, nowhere near the heartwarming and golden charm of Stardew Valley that so many of Sun Haven's fans audaciously compare it to.

Stardew had class and a strong homely appeal, a token and very elementally strong feeling of purpose and charm to your farm and relationships, every element of building, upgrade, and character being carefully crafted, including it's wonderful pixel art. This is garbage in comparison and a cheap knockoff. The farming elements feel sloppily executed, everything else just feels...like eating candy and sweets for an entire dinner, and then puke dribbling down your chin. Hard to define just why it's so bad. I didn't notice it too clearly until a significant time spent playing

It looks like you are also forced to be trans as you cannot select a gender, and 100% of the romanceable characters population are bi, gay or trans themselves as you can date both men and women across the whole map with the same character at once. This is alienating once you are looking for a wife in the game and you have every romanceable male also hitting on you and asking you for dates as you give gifts to the NPCs. It is like you are playing that main character from the movie "Pat" from the 90s.

Come to think of it, the NPC's, dialogue and graphic style seems to have been written and designed by Japanese girl-men. I love farming sims, one of my favorite niche genres ever, but this game turned out to be trash.

4/10
P.S. Very Bad taste in mouth after finally uninstalling it

Early Access Review
The Mage class wears a crown, and how majestic he is when I see him for the very first time. He has a celestial crown. I love this game, great hack n slash with unique and diverse and many builds possible across the board. The classes are all great, genderlocked but it barely matters, the game is so fun and every class talent tree is brimming with possibility.

My gripes right now are the story is too short, much too short(I think it is actually unfinished but we are still in EA/beta) and i kind of wish you could repeat the story if it was longer in harder difficulties like in Diablo or Titan Quest. But we get a difficulty system related to "Corruption" in the Monolith, but that too can be repetitive and very limited amount of different goals.
Last Epoch is just too damn good tho and it is Beta so

Settlement Survival is a gem city builder after the likes of Banished and Patron, which in fact were the two builders I played the most before this one. It had only minor bugs, is not as slow paced as others such as the upcoming gridless Foundation; kind of standard fare but enjoyable to expand and conquer your maps, and the achievements can be a challenge to get, for the most part not the tedious kind. Even on the hardest difficulty it is a rather easy city builder, however, after youve gotten past the initial formative years for your settlement, and even with disasters. But there's a sense of accomplishment in this quaint game that persists as daily life goes on. There are blueprint buildings that act as "Wonders" you can build, tied to the factions, including a Castle, often with very large bonuses to your town, but that require massive amounts of materials. One of them, and this is cute, is an Aztec Temple where your villagers will periodically and methodically be sacrificed to the pagan gods. If you leave it on you will soon find your populace dwindling. As I kept playing I found myself hooked and loving this game.
Because it is not very unique however;
and not as monumental like other city builders that are on the horizon
I give it 8/10 stars
Still a very solid showing and a Large B+ Rank
thats 8/10

...Great game, relaxing and pleasantly fulfilling tycoon experience

This game is a little gem among management sims and highly addictive. Its not too long to get 100% and I found it enjoyable all the way through-
*You have to have obsessions to fully appreciate the power of blind monotony to this game
*It will warp your view of time
I loved the leveling up of crafting and tending to crops, selling every craftable item in what you can call a "General Store"
This is important as the game allows you to specialize in just one or up to all types of items to sell. You could be a blacksmith shop or a clothing shop for instance. This takes up to 5 days of consistently displaying specific items for customers to learn what type of shop you are

Another plus is the customization of your shop as you expand. I ended up making some kind of Masonic or Christendom temple in the back...and had an open air market area for food. Was pleasant

Overall was pleasantly surprised by this charming title
Now focus! Your Dad's here

Terrible AI in a game reliant on it, messy, tedious, laborious, boring, ugly, sloppy, doesn't work properly. I tried to like it for 20 hours but it just got worse as I progressed. You can go for hours where all dwarves ignore your highest priority command
