This game had alot against it, first the lead programmer went to go get water out of the local water hole but that morning he forgot to clean his mosin and a bear attacked him he pulled the trigger of his rifle to only hear a click and realized he will not see this game finished. On the other hand one of the bug testers was kidnapped by a gargoyle. Developing in Russia is scary the building they work in is frequently raided by police because of arbitrary hentai pirating laws that the development team breaks on almost a daily basis. But still the game is great though it is flawed and needs updating and alot of polish. If you go at it alone or with a party of friends you will be put through a mobile game like story were you dont care about anything and just look for fat cash and xp. It also takes long to level in this game so currently I am level 10 and have put 30 hours in the game.

The aesthetic is probably caught your eye and the team executed it perfectly were you sometimes truly feel like you are some common unwashed citizen in modern day Russia. If you like metro or stalker this is for you. The weapons in game feel alright but sound similar at times. At the start of the game I personally gambled all of my money in one go so I then couldnt buy ammo to kill the local hoodlums eating my settlements garbage so I picked mushrooms for an hour to give to the docter as an aphrodisiac because he couldnt get his willy up anymore. It is rumored that if you gamble too much you will start hearing the machines in the wilderness and faintly see them while your exploring out of the corner of your eye only for them to disappear and make you look like a fool when you tell your friends. What im saying is the game is about gambling you do quests and kill other miscreants and steal there water heaters for absolute fat stacks to then spend in the gambling halls to get that dopamine kick that you have been waiting for your enter adult life. PvP is fun unless your fighting a higher level character or your getting ganked. The safe zones are to keep the peace and talk ♥♥♥♥ once you killed someone. PvE however is a mixed bag in the first area in my opinion they are pretty fair but once you pass a certain area you are facing level 27 enemies and barely get them to half health. There are missions that tell you they are for level 8+ but make you travel to the other side of the map with much higher level enemies then you must go back to the last place you loaded which will be several thousand yards from your objective. The NPC enemies run in a straight line at you and are much faster so you either shoot and destroy them or they murder your entire bloodline in a single swipe. This goes for human NPCs too they run at you in a straight line and shoot. If you are having a hard time you most likely need the gorka with plastic plates installed into it or a new weapon that usually does it or if your facing level 30s you must sneak your way past them. If there is a quest that wants you to go the length of the map, dont do that mission just do other stuff until you get to be a higher level. In short there are tons of problems that I didnt even list but there is a good and worthwhile game here backed by ruskies who update the game on a normal basis. 4/5 worthy of the normal taxpayers praise
