This is the greatest SMT game to come out in a long time. Whether you're a Touhou fan, an SMT fan, or tenfold if you a fan of both, I can't recommend it enough. I think it is something that can be experienced even without prior knowledge of Touhou, so don't let that stop you.

Early Access Review
Goes hard. More fun than filling a trash bag full of pine cones and dumping them over the floor of a public restroom.

Honestly?Goes so hard. One of the most goated glizzy-themed games for all the glizzy loving gamers. The glizzies in this game are delicious. It's a great and memorable game. After I played it, I had dreams about playing it. That's not even a joke, I really did. It's a great speedrun as well. Highly recommend it.

Imagine, if you will, a paid PvP game, not free to play, where your gameplay affecting skills and abilities are locked behind gacha pulls fueled by microtransactions. A gacha system which further more doesn't even have any sort of pity mechanics whatsoever.
This game is basically Dead by Daylight but worse in every way. As oppose to DbD, Breakers is absurdly luck dependent to a comical degree. Gameplay is very shallow. Crashes extremely often. I've had it crash multiple times in a single day. No crossplay. Menus were not optimised at all for PC, extremely awkward to navigate using mouse and keyboard. Despite being a live service game, they are hardly doing nuthin' to add more content even though it's very barebones. Few maps, few characters. Very cringe. Don't buy.

UPDATE: IT'S STILL BAD
UPDATE AGAIN: Ginyu (new paid DLC raider) is now available on the public test server. I have experienced 9 matches with him so far and out of them he has won all of them, none of them were even close. So, they're game ending this game, right here and now... It was (almost kinda not really) fun while it lasted...

Hylics is a very fun and memorable experience, and a great deal for the price point. The unique and creative visuals are very swag, and, dare I say it, I'd even so far as to say it's a little based. It's quite short, and the only complaint I could make is that I loved it so much I wanted even more of it, which is a pretty good testament to it's quality, I'd say. I've enjoyed it enough to replay it multiple times. The soundtrack is also very rockin'. Definitely one of the games of all time. I would definitely recommend buying Hylics.

The PC version of this game is lagging HARD and running EXTREMELY slow, I legit mean gameplay is consistently running at less than half the speed it should (in comparison with both the original and other platforms of this remaster). I have talked with a bunch of other people who bought it and they are all experiencing this issue to the same really bad degree. Turning all of the setting down to the minimum won't even stop it. People are also reporting issues with starting online matches. Absolutely do not this version of the game until this issue is resolved. I left a potential fix at the bottom of this review.

Nov '22 Update: I was just considering seeing if the issue was resolved and if I should update my review when suddenly out of nowhere myself and several other players I talked to booted up the game to receive a message telling us we will no longer have access to our special pre-order exclusive cosmetic DLC with no further explanation. So far I haven't found a fix but I will keep you guys posted as always. In light of this new information, yes, I do believe this review should remain negative, even more so than before. Keep up the good work, Bandai Namco. I will say it again. Do not buy this game.

Potential lag fix someone else found: "go in NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL, and there to MANAGE 3D SETTINGS -> PROGRAM SETTINGS. Here I selected the Jojo game on "SELECT A PROGRAM TO CUSTOMIZE", and on "SELECT THE PREFERED GRAPHICS PROCESSOR" I selected the NVIDIA VIDEO CARD." I was able to get it working for myself, however, I will still leave the review negative at least for a little while, as I am feeling a bit devious and it's silly that it was an issue in the first place.

This game goes hard. You can customise the appearance of the protagonist in a number of ways, and unlock many cool outfits. The game also has many great animations, which are all buttery smooth. Epic combat gameplay, too. I would speedrun it but I imagine most sites would not be too keen on hosting footage from this game, which would make it a bit hard to build a community around it, however, if anyone else would be interested, let me know, as maybe we can get this game to GDQ. I think it has potential. I heavily recommend this game and am looking forward greatly to future titles from this developer.

This game's story is truly exhilarating. It's almost impossible to know what Yuuka is going to do next. She keeps you guessing, never getting too comfortable for the challenges you must overcome in this therapy trial. The art is amazing, and the soundtrack is so well constructed. The gameplay has a lot of interesting and challenging mechanics to learn, but it really pays off when you do. It's going to be hard for Sigyaad Team to top this one!

Yup... This game is Steam user @Yoshio approved. The time stop mechanic is well balanced out by the enemies' swift attacks, the music is great, and it runs super smoothly. Playing around with time stop is pretty cool, too. It's not that long of a game, but there's some great post-game content to compensate that. It's quite fun, and I definitely recommend it, even if you aren't a huge Metroidvania fan. You don't need any previous Touhou knowledge to enjoy the game or understand it's story, as the relationships between characters are easy enough to understand, but some references and foreshadowing may go over your head.
