Spent 10 hours downloading because of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher & brain damaged devs not uploading the game to steam servers & instead relying on P2P downloading & uploading, finally get in the game & restart it 20+ times doing all the tricks in the community guides only to be stuck in initializing interface failed or client authentication failed, and I did link my steam account to the launcher through their website & restart everything multiple times.

Friend told me to verify game files cuz that fixed it for him, and doing that makes the game delete itself from my entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer, overrid itself in my files but still ripped away 65gb from my hardrive that I'll need to do some magic to recover. Epic gamer moment ♥♥♥♥ this man

I'm just at the start of the game at time of review, but this game is exactly what I expected it to be, poggers, and that's while even playing on a CV1 so I don't even have the full potential of the games graphics.

What a shame this game ended up going nowhere with so much promise, and the devs are delusional & killing it themselves.
Absolutely depressing. If you want to know the problems read any of the other negative reviews, especially the wall-of-text ones, they outline all the problems perfectly.

Waste of money & time.

Oh yeah, this is what I've been waiting for.
Lots of interesting bugs right now (day its launched), but all the ones I've encountered are fixed just from a main-menu & back (fast), Sending in bug reports should get the big ones fixed fast, these devs seem quite passionate.

I think I'll sink a lot of hours into this game. I think it'll live up to FTL with some polish & updates. Music is great, visuals are great, story is aight & dialogues are interesting. Finished the first chapter of the human campaign in only a few hours, but I got an RNG godrun, my buddy has been getting screwed for as long as I've played :)

Says 8 player multiplayer. Yeah it is but only if you're all together in the same room. 4 player max online, despite my friends & I somehow getting 5 into an online match in our first try, then being unable to re-create that. Incredibly frustrating to buy a game for yourself & your 4 other friends, only to be unable to play because the dev set up the multiplayer in the most infuriating & broken (stupid) way possible.

Tried messing around with remote-play & such & watching videos & reading forums but somehow could just NOT figure out how we managed to get 5 people in a game together initially. Seems impossible to get more than 4 in an online match, even after trying to sort out remote play to try bypass it.

I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH

Generally these types of games I wouldn't like, but this one was different. I could tell there was a whole lot of love put into this game, just from all the incredible detail, secrets, humour, the endings, music. I am completely enthralled with CHANGED. I'm changed ;) I spent a huge amount of my time just going around, reading everything, interacting with everything, I love the story. Sure the gameplay made me rage here & there, but it was all worth it in the end. You know a games good when it makes you deliberately die/reload saves just to exhaust every dialog, see every animation, everything <3

DECENT GAME SO FAR BUT YOU CAN'T BRING YOUR PALICO INTO A MISSION WITH YOU WHEN YOU HAVE 3 FRIENDS OR MORE IN YOUR GROUP :(((((((

I understand its to try not make you too OP but atleast give us the damn option to bring them in, we all want our cute cats there with us & would rather stuff be a bit more unbalanced than not having them there ;;~~~;;

From my (limited) experience with more than 2 people you already seem super strong anyway so it shouldn't even be a thing feelsbadman

Tried this game after greatly enjoying number 1, but just couldn't get into it because the Hud & UI felt clunky, unintuitive and overall worse. I would've greatly preferred if I could just use the hud & controls from the first game. The movement and planning in the first game for me personally felt substantially better, and it all just worked. In this game it feels incredibly ♥♥♥♥♥ and hard to get my characters to do what I want, Or I'd always be accidentally doing things, or just mainly getting annoyed at the UI & Hud for not being the same as the firsts, and just being worse imo. Maybe I'll give it another shot in the future but for now the incredibly eyesore hud -infact mainly just the hud & movement/control scheme, completely ruined it for me.

Devs are so hungry for money they charge $90 for an 8 year old game, then have the audacity to charge $20+ for almost every DLC.
Blood & gore should be standard with the game, absolutely revolting move by the developers.

Highly recommend getting on sale like I did, WELL worth the price that it is currently. Or atleast get it on another sale if you missed the Christmas one!
Excellent story, VERY challenging gameplay, learning curve, getting lucky with RNG, upgrading ship to make your chances of reaching your goal bigger.

Don't stress if you die on the final level like I did the first time. it saves your progress so NO STRESS.
Feel proud if you can actually beat this game, not many people have (according to steam achievements its less than 10%)
