TF2 is one of the most endearing, rich and well made FPS games in the history of gaming, and is loved by millions of people. However, due to Valve's negligence, the game has been overrun with bots. And now, players are review bombing the game in an attempt to unify with the movement #FixTF2. While I do have my doubts about this succeeding, I figure it is worth a try. If anything, this goes to show how deep the love and commitment for this game runs through players. Even if nothing comes of it, the game will not die. TF2 will never die. Even though we have been plagued with botters for many years, we still have held on to the hearts and minds of so many people. As long as people care about this game, it can not and will not be lost to us.

I really want to enjoy this game. I do. However, after the 1.0 update the game is in a borderline unplayable state. Going from 120+FPS to 15 in some areas of the map, AI that out-performs even the most cautious and tactical of players, and poor weapon balance are all serious issues that make the game difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the devs seem content to sweep this sort of thing under the rug. A combination of censoring discussion posts and poor communication bring shame on the company. Unless this game is improved in the next 3 months, I would not recommend this purchase.
Edit: The new DLC released by VOID for $10 only gives you three maps. The devs had the gall to release a paid update with a pitiful amount of content to a game that needs serious polishing and optimization.

KSP was one of the first games I ever bought on steam almost a decade ago. Aside from being legitimately educational in regards to orbital mechanics and space travel, it is a great deal of fun to play either seriously or in sandbox. On top of all of that, the modding community for this game is enormous, and some of the mods available are breathtaking.

This review is quite saddening for me to make. I want this game to succeed. I was willing to part with $50 to play EA. I understand that EA is not going to be terribly well optimized, especially when compared to a full build. That said, this level of performance is unacceptable. Even with a simple spacecraft of less than 20 parts, my 1660 ti is not capable of producing 30 FPS consistently. This is absurd. I am disappointed as much as I am sad. I have been looking forward to this game for three years. All of this being said, I do not want the game to fail. However, if the developers want to have a player base for this game, they need to optimize it QUICKLY. I am not holding my breath, though. Should the developers prove me wrong, I will change my perspective.

There are so many mixed feelings about this game currently. While I think that the game is a fantastic experience and it truly reflects Halo in a positive way, the current customization in the game is unacceptable. The monetization of what is one of the most integral features in all of Halo is ridiculous and unacceptable. Worse still, many defend this decision because the multiplayer is free. I do not mind paying for a game that is complete and true to form. Just because a game is free, that does NOT give it an excuse to make poor decisions.

This is one of the quintessential RTS games. I remember watching my father play Age of Empires when I was a young boy. Of course I would make a return to the series. Workshop support is an amazing addition that exposes a myriad of customization options and encourages creativity. 10/10 would play again

This game is SOULSUCKING. I bought the original back in 2012, and have not regretted a single penny of what I paid for it! The freedom skyrim offers is unparalleled. If you would like to kill hundreds of people and burn their villages, you can! If you want to run naked and chase butterflies, you can! If you want to sit down in your house and read a good novel, you can! And the DLC is excellent as well. While I may not have much playtime on the PC, I have over 600 hours on my old Xbox now gathering dust. Anyways, I digress, but I will finish my review with this...... Skyrim is a full and expansive package with a lot to offer everyone and is fairly simple to pick up and get into.

This time around I will be donning a more serious tone. ARK is a wonderful game that has a lot to offer and is an absolute blast with tons of replayability. It is one of my favorite all time games with 1400 hours at the time of this review. I cannot, however, support Studio Wildcard and their distasteful business practices they have been employing in this game. The game is still poorly optimized and the developers seem to only care about, "fueling the money machine" so to speak by pumping out DLC and new content, and the game is suffering for it. Not to mention they ask a whopping sixty dollars for it. If someone pays sixty dollars for a game they should at least be able to expect a smooth and bugless(relatively speaking) experience. Yet I feel as though this does not bother the developers so long as they keep making money off of it, but I digress.

I will sum this up:
Ark is an amazing ammount of fun, especially with friends, but you will need a fairly powerful machine to keep it running at any decent framerate while maintaining the graphical beauty.

It is a fun game at the core... but the community is just very toxic... It's even on par with DOTA 2 and LOL communities..... but if you can get a posse of dudes in a clan to play with... you can sink A LOT of hours into rust easily. (P.S. try PvE servers if you are just starting out.... they are a good place to make friends.... then you can move over to a PvP server with your clan.)
