Kara Mustafa Pasha was a Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire, so powerful and so pious, he could influence the tumen system to create... poor quality moslem hordes. The army he led eventually grew so numerous that he was only afraid of losing his numerical advantage, which eventually of course he did. Unfortunately, he tought his adversaries that being encircled while besieging a city with a massive numerical advantage after having several months notice was everything he knew. The Holy Roman Emperor defeated him outside the gates of Vienna and he was strangled by his Sultan. Ironic, he could recruit many men, but not win many victories with these men himself.
