The last good Total War to date, although it is inferior to Medieval II. Lets see how long it takes them to make historical one.

In my humble view this is where the games peaked. By far the best Total War game to date.

Sucks that they took down the multiplayer servers but this a classic and a must buy. This game is far better than the hacks at EA will ever produce.

The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion is quite possibly my favorite of the Elder Scrolls series. The atmosphere, the soundtrack, it all felt beautiful and despite the game's age, it still feels great. Now I myself have a deep love for both fantasy and history. Oblivion gave me a sense of the idea of what is described in the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table or the Lord of the Rings. Now setting aside the Dark Brotherhood or the Thieves Guild(Which both have amazing questlines). I felt as though the game instilled in me a sense of what the ideal was for Christendom and the idea of Chivalry in the Knights of the Nine questline. I loved going into the Chapels that were in the cities throughout Cyrodiil. I felt a sense of almost what many European Christians thought of how Revelation would happen in a sense of the world ending and the gates of Hell being unleashed. I do not know whether Bethesda meant to use many Medieval Christian themes or I just interpret the game wrong but I felt they used many. I enjoy Skyrim as well however it gave more feelings of Iron Age Pagan Europe which I do not identify with as much(Me being a descendant of Northern European Catholics). I hope you find joy in this game just as much as I did!
