The only good Dragon Age game. Essentially Baldur's Gate 2.5. 9/10.

It's a great adventure game, but a bad RPG. You play it for the vibe.

FF10 is still a tearjerker, 20 years later. The themes and emotions it plays with land perfectly, and for the emotionally intuitive types that can read between the lines, it brings even more to the table. This game is still an epic.

The thematic whiplash between the end of X and the start of X2 is still as offputting as ever, and I consider the second game completely skipable.

I'm not one to pick up, play and finish games, I've probably got the final achievement for about 10% of my steam library, but I fell in love with the world, characters, atmosphere, and feelings. Played it straight through. Night City is a fun world to play in. The most visually impressive game I've played to date. Combat is fun (if a bit simple) at a baseline, but falls off with low lategame enemy variety. It's really easy to skip fast travel, put on the radio, and take in the sights of the game while driving around to some synthwave.

There's a big gap in quality between the endings, but I can't go into it without spoilers. One (and a half) is a tearjerker and shows massive character growth and emotional impact, and the others all feel immature, cursed, or half thought out. Not all paths through the game are even close to equal.

Had no bugs or similar issues.

This was a mid-tier RPG on release, and age hasn't helped it. This is a game you only play if you want to play the full Dragon Age anthology. IMHO Origins is just a better gameplay experience, and DA2 is very skipable as a PC RPG gamer.

PC unfriendly controls and UI, but no gamepad support. Best played on console as a couch game, but it's difficult to wrangle up the game and all of the story DLC at a reasonable price.

Thrones of Decay and the 5.0 update has made major improvements to the game's AI and popular campaigns.

While Shadows of Change was rough, it does seem like Creative Assembly is correcting their mistakes.

Game good :)

Zelda+Dark Souls=Elden Ring is a lot like 2+2=5. Better than the sum of its parts, if you can believe that.
