A free to play Call of Duty running under the Crysis engine. It's pretty good for a F2P shooter and has many modes of play, including co-op and pvp modes. The graphics are pretty good too and it runs decent on integrated graphics. Don't expect any realism though, it's an arcade shooter like CoD, BF, C-S and is friendly to newcommers. Worth playing for those who would like some solid F2P co-op and/or pvp fun.

This is the free to play, pvp focused ArmA 3. The concept is good and should draw new audiences to the ArmA franchise, however the game would need a higher player count support, some usable vehicles and more gameplay modes if they want it to become popular. Obviously, Bohemia don't want to compete with their main commercial product, ArmA 3, but if they want a share of "e-sports", they'll have to further improve this. It would also be nice if it won't stay just at the current map, because despite its size, variety is still needed in the long term. So this will either remain an appetizer for ArmA 3 or a game in it's own right, depending on it's further evolution. Either way, it's free to play so you aren't losing anything by trying it out (outside of your HDD or SDD space).

For those who don't know - this is a remake of the Malden island from Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis aka ArmA Cold War Assault, the very first ArmA game. I have already tried out the map in Project Argo, a F2P and PVP focused version of ArmA 3. While the map uses assets from Altis, it still manages to look very good and detailed. It's a nice free gift for all ArmA 3 players and long time fans of the franchise such as myself. Looking forward to a Nogova remake or a full throwback to the Cold War theme aka ArmA Cold War Assault 2. ;p

Probably the best modern "twin-stick shooter". The game plays, looks and sounds great and is filled with content and re-playlability. It can be pretty hard, but it's so well made you keep returning to it. I just wish I could play it in 3D as I tried to force it via ReShade but it didn't work.

You don't need graphics, you only need cool music and punishing difficulty.

It's basically a bigger demo and a direct console port and the DLC model is pretty bad but it's Dead or Alive and it's on PC and that's a good thing. Now all we need are ports of Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur and the PC will not miss any fighting games.

Pure Sega fanservice and a very good arcade racer too.

Runs pretty well on modern iGPUs too so you don't need a killer system for it.
