The steam "hours played" counter only goes up in incrimantes of 0.1 hours which doesnt make much sense considering that time works in 60's this is until of course you reach days, months and years which oddly enough do work in 1's but the rest of time is always divisible by 6 yet not years, deccades, centuries etc this is likely becasue originally we didnt measure physical and non physical stuff in 10's this is where the imperial sysytem comes from along with countless sysytems throughout the ages including egyption and greek methods years probably go up in 1's because this time frame doesnt reset like a clock or even the way the days in a year do so years are used for counting up indefinatly which is rather ominous if you think about it like we have set this system up of so called time that will just go on indefinatly even when humans are no longer around which is very likely if we dont collinise outter space its inneviatble at this point if we carry on consuming the amount of green house gasses that the planet will go into an ice age and all human life will cease to exist however a number of other factors could lead to our demise such as yellowstone or a disease which wipes out all crops due to selective farming creating less diverse crops which would be more suceptaple to one disease wiping them all out this principle also goes for humans as designer babies become more popular leading to total human extinction. :)
