Mostly L Game

PvP Is pretty Aids, Frequently match with ppl who far surpass your gear and ability to fight back, (especially in session battles) very much not new player friendly.
PvE IS currently lacking but hopefully the Day X update that's coming on the 10 of next month fixes that.

Ultimately if you do decide to play, my advice is to never progress into master servers. (Usually by having Red Tier Gear for both Armor and Weapons) once you progress into Masters servers, you cannot go back.

While i appreciate the time you took to respond to my steam review, your response feels more like "nuh uh" sort of response. Iv already read that article you linked the day it came out, and my referring to the disparity in gear is not related to the TIER of gear, its related to the upgrade level of gear, and the difficulty one can have while grinding running into people that may have the same tier of gear but may have enough upgrades on they're gear over you (or artifacts and they're upgrades) that fighting back may be impossible if you don't have the same upgrades at your disposal, and while I'm more or less out of this phase of the game, the ultimate point of my review was that there isn't any point that I cant in good faith recommend this game to a single person I know because of how little your time is respected in this game. and the features that create such an environment just aren't things that development intends to change because of some vision. While is fine to have a specific vision for how you want a game to be, you shouldn't be surprised when people who don't like your vision start writing a reviewing criticizing the ramifications of it.

while I will continue to keep playing the game because of my masochistic interest in games that don't respect me, i wont be able to share this game with anyone without the response being the other person asking me why anyone would ever want to play the game in the first place.

I do have more comments on other features of aspects of the game but my response is already yappy enough, and this chat isnt a good place for 15 page essay on everything I feel about the game.

Day X update fixes many many of the problems, game looks good, feels good, and feels mostly balanced, my only problem is that now they've introduced the ability to purchase Spare Parts to upgrade your weapons for real money, which is a little disappointing, but outside of that everything else has been pretty great on launch and is now much more reminiscent of stalker than the game ever has been and im all here for it.
