I started on the PS4 when its was free on PS plus on Sep 22 and just had cross-play enabled, roughly having 1400 playing at the time. After binge playing with friends, i decided that it was worth a buy on steam since it was discounted that month. Been playing on/off since.

Missions are straight forward, task orientated with side quests, maps are decently made forests (some small, some large), a variety of classes, guns and gadgets for different tactics and the threat of being stalked/hunted by a unseen monster. Predators get 3rd person view and fireteam play in 1st person.

It does a good job giving a experience/feeling right out the movie, and when playing with friends its a enjoyable day hunting predators like Chris Hansen. Working with a good team to take on a competent predator really brings the most fun out. Can start the rd getting bent over by the predator, but you can turn the tables around and hunt the hunter. Playing the predator is great at times, can either take your time hunting and picking off fire team members that stray too far, or drop amongst them with a stick and no lube. I played more time as fireteam as i found the challenge vs the predator better than vs humans.

Unfortunately the problems are:
low player count (avg 30-40 players a day)
Player base only increases slightly during sales
only updates are new DLC (pay to win/OP)
nothing is balanced or polished (handheld plasma caster, interactions stuck/unreachable)
online only multiplayer, no campaign (except for a short tutorial for the predator)
Enemy/teammate bots (special ed forces)
hacks have never been dealt with
wait times for a full lobby

Players are either newborns in the jungles making too much noise or veterans driving a van with free candy on the side. Some are fun to play/duel with but most are not.

Good premise and gameplay for the Predator game franchise, just poorly executed and left in a ditch like the tsar nobility.

Difficulty is either sink or swim.

I would like to recommend this game but im a masochist

One of the greatest Real Time Strategy games of all time, Dawn of War allowed players of the table top game to enjoy the Warhammer 40,000 universe without having to spend enough money that would support a decent cocaine habbit. Imersive gameplay, amazing campaigns and fun multiplayer makes it the most sought and played game of its type. Is it worth it? Yes. Do yourself a favour and buy this game or buy Dawn Of War and all its expansions.
