Fromsoft made a multiplayer rogue like and it's amazing. Worth every single penny in my opinion. Lots of fun with friends and each character feels worthwhile. It took me about 24 hours to get to a point where I can perform a solo run reasonably so most of my first playthrough was multiplayer. I had no problem with that unlike Elden Ring because the scaling and vision Fromsoft had for challenge felt very fair. I prefer Nightreign's combat and gameplay loop to Elden Ring's with the context of both games in mind and one of my favorites now.

Was one of the best mmo's ever until June 2025. Pvp player of 7 years here left out in the cold by incompetent developers. Subclassing was a terrible mistake and the developers are incredibly out of touch to have gone forward with such a ridiculous idea. Pure classes hurt at the expense of a new system literally no one asked for as was predicted months before this horrific update. Go play FF14 that game respects your time investment significantly more, now has class identity compared to eso, and looks better. Barely a reason for even a super elder scrolls fan to play this one any more.

What's with video games these days 180* 'ing in to homogenizing choices literally no one asked for?

I can not overstate how unhealthy it has already been in just 5 days coupled with the pay to win mythic on Solstice. I can not recommend eso post subclassing update it just is not worth your time and money in this identityless state and I am trying to warn you off.
