DiRT 3 niósł ze sobą wielkie nadzieje, które jednak nie do końca zostały spełnione. Wkładając do napędu płytę z tym tytułem wprost nie posiadałem się ze szczęścia, jednak kończąc rozgrywkę moje uczucia były dużo bardziej mieszane. Nie wszystko, co zaplanowali panowie z Codemasters, wyszło im zgodnie z planem. Z jednej strony wprowadzili do rozgrywki zupełnie nowe elementy, takie jak tryb gymkhana, fenomenalne efekty pogodowe czy możliwość zabawy we dwójkę na podzielonym ekranie, z drugiej jednak innym nie poświęcili odpowiednio dużo uwagi. Nie zmienia to jednak faktu, że gra wciąga i to na wiele godzin.
