I like this game a lot actually.
Its in a good shape, just needs more... more of everything. It can get repetive... but hey, on the other hand how is fixing generators (DBD) not repetive....? :D
Theres room to grow, and as long as theres ppl buying this game, im sure Dev will make it grow. The potential is there.

I first had a negative review about this game. Was the NR 1 rated review, i deleted it.
Why is simple, at first i was scared away because the game is very slow paced. Which i basically dislike, but is it fair to give a review based on this? I dont know yet, for now my review stays positive.

What i can say for now, theres much love for details in this game. On one hand the building part is very slow paced, yes. On the other hand the buildings are built 1 piece after 1 piece. You can watch em being built up from a scratch.

P2W. There is none yet. If it will become, we dont know. There is no "speed up"-option. Its not implemented. We dont know what it will look like.
Theres cavecoins, which can be bought. Their used for different things, like buying seeds, buying second carrier, doing research. But their not exclusive for money. They can be bought for gold, gold can be earned for selling ur goods on the market.

Im still trying, will do a fair review later, as soon as i made up my mind about this game. I basically really like it, the speed is my biggest issue tbh. :D

BTW guys, Nr1 negative review here, spreads wrong info. It says to upgrade/research you need cave coins, which is true, but its absolutely wrong these have to be bought with money! You can also buy em on the market ingame for gold. You get gold by selling ur goods. So nope, nothing in this game has to be bought with real money. I just wanted to clarify that, i hate when ppl spread wrong info....

The devs biggest mistake was to release it on Discord Shop first. Shop doesnt exist anymore, now they finally were able to release it here, where it hopefully is as successful as it deserves to be.

Launch problems? Seems like. Aint it normal?

No voicechat? Its coming, but not even rly needed imho.

Long queues? Hell thats up to us, the players... if every1 insists to play killer only, the queues are long.. lol.

All these whiners are brainless imho... Probably exactly the reason, why some games dont release on Steam first anymore. I cant hear all that "games dead" ♥♥♥♥ anymore. (after 8h being on steam lmao, not our fault u kids are growing up in the basement, some ppl have a life). Dont listen to these trolls guys, just try the game urself.

This game lacks one thing: A playerbase. For 5$ this shouldnt be too hard to be changed though? ;)

Ich habe nie so ein Spiel gespielt. 14 Std. und 4 Mal komplett eingestampft worden.
Aber: Es macht Spass. Ich habe die Schnauze voll von Spielen die keine echte Herausforderung bieten. Das ist hier definitiv nicht der Fall. Jeder kleine Fehler kann das Ende deiner Kolonie einläuten.

Das Spiel ist relativ bugfrei für einen EA-Titel. Ich hatte noch nie einen Crash zu verzeichnen! Und sowas wie "Game-breaking-Bugs" gibts meiner Meinung nach gar nicht.

Das Einzige Manko für mich persönlich: Die letzte Welle. Von 60 FPS runter auf teilweise 20 und ich spiele nicht einmal mit der Höchstzahl an Zombies. Allerdings muss ich fairer Weise sagen, die letzte Welle sind wohl tausende Zombies und wenn der Rechner soviel zu "berechnen" hat, kanns schonmal stocken. Unterm Strich, für einen EA-Titel eigtl. eine super Leistung von der manch namhaftes Studio sich ne dicke Scheibe abschneiden könnte! In Sachen "optimation" habe ich bei EA-Titeln schon weit schlechteres gesehen. Selbst mein grösstes Manko wendet sich eigtl. also auch wieder in ein Lob.

Das Ganze lässt sich am Besten als RTS / Tower Defence -Mix mit Zombie Weltuntergangsstimmung beschreiben.

Über die Devs von "They are Billions" kann ich folgendes sagen: "They are brilliant"! :)

EDIT: Nach 20 Std. mein erster Sieg. Auf der 2. Map (von insgesamt 4 im Moment), wurde mir dann aber nach 7 Minuten gezeigt, dass ich noch immer viel zu lernen habe. :)

Kleiner Nachtrag noch: Ich habe jetzt 20+ Spielstunden. Ich bin mir sicher ich werde 50+ rausholen. Dies ist einer der SEHR wenigen EA-Titel, bei denen man nicht das Gefühl hat, halb fertig zu sein. Die 20 Euro sind mehr als gut investiert. Bei so manchen 60 Euro AAA-Titeln war ich nach 20 Std. längst fertig. Also: Kaufen! Ehrlich.

Edit 2: Ich habe nun 61 Spielstunden. Habe jeden Modus mindestens einmal erfolgreich geschafft. Nun warte ich auf die "weekly Map", die ranked sein wird und bald da sein sollte.
Aber auch auf jeden weiteren künftigen Content freue ich mich nach diesen Spielstunden immer noch! Für 20 Euro, so viele Stunden und gute Aussichten auf noch viel mehr Stunden...? Super, oder? ;)

This game is great, its wonderful, its entertaining, its one of the best games ever.

Only idiots give bad reviews just because theres paid Mods now, which ur not forced to buy in any way. (I wont do so either).

But why would i give a negative review for a great game because of something dumb like that. The game itself did NOT change. Grow up.

Great game so far. Surprisingly smooth for an EA title.
