got this for free from a raffle, genuinely not a bad game and I would've paid money for it if I knew it even existed.

I don't know how to feel about this game. It was an amazingly impressive game when I got it 6 years ago, and the year and a half afterwards they made a decent amount of quality of life changes to put the game in a "playable" state. Nevertheless, its been completely abandoned and unfinished. I thought coming back to this a few days ago would have years of updates piled up and the campaign would be complete, and there would be some new features to try out, but its the same exact game. That really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks because both the human campaign and the europa submarine maps had some real potential.

Based on what the game was and still is, there isn't much to do. There is no objective, mission, events, or endgoal. You land, you build a base, and you keep improving everything until you decide you're bored of repetitive tasks and stop coming back to the save. Either that or you do the campaign rover mode and drop individual rovers in so you can make a bigger one and repeat the cycle. They did drop the game to $10 though, and this is exactly the quality of game you'd expect from a $10 game regularly, so I don't feel ripped off.

It's cool to try a few times and then never touch it again, and I would call it worth the money and time. I can't in good conscience give it a positive review looking at the content and knowing what could have been if the developers stayed active.
