The game is fun enough to finish, but not fun enough for me to explore everything or even play it the second time.
Gun play is worse than borderlands3, the characters are more woke than blue states.

This series continues its disgusting "cute" and "funny" dialogues while making fun of people that play games.

The game works smoothly and without bugs, but it added unwanted extra stuff in, and deleted some small details that made the original fun.

It is super obvious that this game "borrowed" features from stardew valley, which i find funny because this was the og harvest moon lol.

the evil is from resident evil but this evil is less evil than the other evil.

in all seriousness, this game is unpolished and uninspiring. they only have one original idea, that is mix matrix with resident evil and silent hill. they have failed at all three.

cliche horror scenes.
horrendous combat system.

only get this game if you want to experience old school resident evil games with a fresh layer of paint.
Just be warned that you have already played games like this many times before.

this game was made to entertain 10 year old children and die harry potter fans. It is more of an harry potter assets showcase than an actual rpg. from the moment the game starts, it will hold the player's hand.

get this game only if you are looking for a harry potter themed park experience.

I tried to like this game, and it is a good game, but It just don't fit how I want to play.
The mood is set perfectly. It is dark, and it is in a swam, and the combat is very risky and rewarding.

However..... in some instances, you are locked in a situation where you have to have the right gear to have a chance of progressing. It is not because you made a wrong choice or anything, it is just because it is where the game "check" you. So unless you can see the future, you are going to die at least a few times in these instances. I hate repeating my progress due to this kind of mechanics, and in this game, there are a lot of places to lose your progress.

It would have been fine if the game is still scary, but after about 20 mins of game play, the game just became another zombie shooter with back tracking and no scary.

I missed the revolver, ran out of pistol and shotgun ammo, so I am forced to run from enemies while looking for keys. I understand why this game built itself this way, since it is heavily influenced by silent hill and resident evil, but game play like this gets repetitive and annoying very quickly. Right now I have no choice but to restart from the very beginning, however, this is not the type of game that I would like to play twice. It should have been a nice and smooth experience on one single play through. It is a nice game with great atmosphere, but it is not worth my time to start over just so I can manage my ammo better. By the way the combat sucks.

But my boss, who has billions of dollars, makes me plant my own food, pay for my own gears, pay for my own medicine when I am hurt, and never pays me a dime as compensation.

Was this by design or am I over thinking it?

The only way to make progress in this game is to save scum. You make one mistake and it is game over and you need to reload your save. Nothing you do matters, and you will get one hit killed constantly. This game likes to plan "traps" to end your game a lot. Horrible balance. None sense story. repeatable combat. what a waste. The devs knows how to make a game, but doesn't know how to make it fun.
