Great take on a classic arcade, super cool sounds & visuals. Challenging gameplay as well, that ramps up every level! Highly recommend!

Really cool game! Should be getting more attention... Would recommend all day long.

More than anything the game is FUN FUN FUN and easy to pickup and play. Definitely has that Crisis VRigade 1 vibe, but in a western. Feels and plays like an arcade shooter on rails, but being on horseback and being able to strafe and move in all directions is very clever and unique.

Game runs and handles very very well, simple yet solid execution. The graphics are cartoony but they give it a good fitting fun feel. I personally love everything Synty makes esp for VR.

Sounds are a bit repetitive and could be much better, gunshots, the bullets , hits, misses, "reload" , even the horse walking around noise gets old and repetitive real quick, if there was a bit more variety in it , it would be more fun

Enemies and enemy AI could use a bit more improvement , and game goes from 0 to 100 real quick with the boss battles, i bet it would make it even better if its more balanced out throughout, i maybe the other levels are better since i played only 2 levels so far.

Which brings me to the next point, tons of levels to play, and they are worth about 10-15 mins playtime a pop, so there is quite a bit of content in there!! On the other hand, it is lacking when it comes to weapon variety, upgrading your weapons , upgrading your horse, etc...

While there may be room for improvements and many things that can be better, this game runs really well (not buggy), is simply fun to play and fun to be in, fits VR great and is definitely worth trying. I hope it grows and improves even more!

If you are into casual games, space, or sims, this is a GREAT short fun experience.

This was a fun little game, got it a while back, only played it briefly before but then put aside, never played it through...
Was going through my "unplayed" games and gave it a try again, from start to finish, IT WAS GREAT... about 45min-1hr experience , short but sweet. Dont know if i would personally play it again, but it is definitly worth playing through at least once, and I would recommend it to friends to try it.

Played it on the Rift S, no problem... Hands where a bit wonky and sometimes valves would get stuck open or accidentally go the opposite way than you want them, annoying when it happens but in general its tolerable and NOT a deal breaker (still worth experiencing the game)

A very casual, laid back and fun game to play! Simple yet novel idea, would be a great party game, except now with social distancing it def could use an online multiplayer mode!
Simple yet novel and creative idea, well executed and performs/handles well.

not bad for what it is... Real excited for what this could be or become...

I almost completely dismissed this game because of some negative reviews. The game is incomplete and still has a lot of issues, but the core mechanic is definitely solid, and more important, FUN TO PLAY. Some complained about how simplistic it is, but it does not need to be more complicated... Maybe developer plans on including other ships/galleons that are a bit more complex and have more than 3 speed variation, different turning radius, different armor/ firepower etc. but in terms of the mechanics, two bells two cannons and a ship wheel, that is 6 things for your two hands to do, more than enough.

Performance wise, it ran solid on my PC so i dont know if performance was worse on other peoples i can see how that would make it bad. (i7-6700 , 16GB, RTX2070, Oculus Rift S)

in terms of VR Sickness, it would rank up their with more intense experiences, I was tired after 20 mins, and have had enough although i was having fun. And i would say i have good VR legs as i play a lot of VR driving games, and Boneworks, pistol wip etc on a regular basis, and i would probably only enjoy in small dosages of 20-30 minutes, but that is to be expected from this type of game.

I got it on sale for $14 , which is an OK price, i would say as is it is def worth the $10-15, but also i think it will be even more worth it or worth original price once game is completed.

1.5 hrs into the game:
** I have giggled out loud multiple times in excitement for being able to do something in a video game such as hook my crowbar on a shelf and hurl it across the room.
Am having a bit of trouble with grabbing things, and letting go of them, i see how this is designed for the index knuckles (im using Rift S) and it would be much less awkward on that system, looking forward to trying it with the mamut grips i receive tomorrow, might make the experience less clunky, especially when being able to let go of the whole controller.

The big question, is the physics realistic, in short no, or at least i dont find it so, i actually find it comically clunky at times, for example being able to pickup a desk by just squeezing your palm against it...

BUT nevertheless its a really good attempt at a super interactive world, the writing is great, the game is fun, i wasted one and a half hour on just the tutorial part playing around with stuff, been playing VR for 4 years and this game was MANY firsts for me... I am super excited to jump back in and play later tonight, im even more excited to try this with the enhanced grips, and if i ever get my hands on and index with a pair of knuckles even for 30 mins, i know exactly what game im going straight for ...

KUDOS and congrats to the developers, definitely have an instant VR classic here! GREAT JOB!!

Did this game live up to all the hype and was worth the wait ... YOU BETCHA!!!

Was it AMAZING enough to make me write my first ever steam game review (694 games later)....?!
