Been playing Pokemon for a long time, and this game scratches that itch of an open world sandbox "Pokemon" game that I have been waiting for Nintendo and GameFreak to make. It is so satisfying to set up a work force of pals and watch them fully automate production lines for you so you can get the resources to craft, passively, while out exploring and raiding. The game, even in early access is just flat out great and intoxicating to play.

The game is fun and enjoyable with friends...to a certain extent. The initial gameplay of the main story was enjoyable and challenging and the stealth is great as well, but having played the early access, the game doesn't feel finished. after hours of playing the game, the stealth loop never changes, sure you get new enemy types, but that's it. It is still crouch around and hit in the head, then go to a door and scan. Nothing changes from this exept on C3 "pressure point", which i enjoyed, and D1, which i thought was the most enjoyable mission in the game. As it stands, this game is not worth the full price tag of $40 and has a very repetitive combat loop, but is enjoyable to play coop. Core mechanics need improving for me to change to a positive review.

People hating on this game forget that this was a Switch game that was doing experimentation, and never really planned on coming to PC. Compared to world, which was built for the PS4 and Xbox one. Still a great addition to the franchise, and honestly the combat in rise feels the best it's ever been.
