I originally picked up elite dangerous on Xbox in 2016. Since then I haven't been able to escape it. I find its one of the best space simulators that doesn't require a NASA PC to run (looking at you star citizen). The learning curve or learning cliff in the very beginning can be quite intimidating but it more than pays off once you learn how everything works. No matter if you're interested in space trucking, exploring the galaxy, combat and even giving some aliens a good o'll kicking this game has it all.

In saying that, this game has taken on more micro transactions recently. Personally i'm not really put off by that but i'm very aware there's various opinions about the subject. Nothing major, mainly just cosmetics but as of late Frontier have introduced pre-built ships that can give you a little bit of a head start (a very minor one at that) if you are willing to fork over the cash.

In summary if you're looking to scratch that space simulator itch and looking for something a little more "realistic" than no mans sky and as mentioned before doesnt take a NASA PC to run as star citizen does, then I HIGHLY recommend giving this game a try.

One of the few games in my library that i genuinely cant seem to put down. I love the fact that the premium currency is somewhat easy to get (if you have the patience and time ofc) and coming from New Zealand where most in game purchases cost ridiculous prices the prices they ask are quite reasonable *if* you want to purchase them. The game play loop is simple yet addicting. The fact that content gets released every month (and sometimes even earlier) is very appreciated. Spreading democracy has never felt so good!

EDIT: I hope for this new PSN requirement coming, Sony finds a workaround for the fellow helldivers that cant create one due to their region.

Only recently got into D&D from a friend inviting me to join a campaign irl. This game has only heightened my enjoyment for it. Initially i was sorta put off by the turn based system, but after playing a bit, it doesnt bother me one bit. It already seems to be an amazing game, and cant wait to play more. Very cool and interesting game. Has its hard times like when you find like 5 CANIBLES REDAY TO EAT YOUR FACE OFF! sorry just find that kinda annoying. But overall its an awesome game.
