Got it during the Skulls sale.
Worth every single cent I spent on it.
The ambience, the scenarios, the stories, the writing, the atention to detail and Lore is immense. I cant stress enough how polished and expansive the game feels. The sound is mostly amazing, the enemy variety is astonishing. As of now my character is on the level 50s and I havent finished all the main campaings that the game offers. Difficulty scales well and rewards with additional tokens for tech tree, progression feels just fast enough to feel rewarding without being too fast that I feel spoiled, or too slow so that the game feels like a job. The game offers a lot of information on its mechanics, there is nothing that is not covered and can be easily accesed. In no point in time I felt like I didnt know what I was doing and any doubts I had I could look it up ingame, without having to google for it.
The character I used was the Arch-Adept from the Prophecy expansion, I love Adeptus Mechanicus faction and being able to play something close to and Arch-Priest with lots of constructs is great.

Without any doubt one of the highest quality warhammer 40k games I have played. Hooked me right away as I played the first mision.

If you love Warhammer40k this game is a must.

This dlc add 2 new lords for Skaven and Wood Elves, it came with a alright rework to the wood elves, brought them back to the spotlight but they didnt quite overhaul them. Yes they removed the Amber mechanic pretty much entirely, no longer being important for unit recruitment and most techs being independent of it. Settlements no longer provide amber either.
However the Kingdom offices remain and their buffs were severely nerfed.

This was all update so what do you get with the dlc? An amazing Skaven Campaing, with unique unit upgrades, some insane abilities and a thematic campaing, that while short is very fun to play. And a new Wood Elf campaing in the Vortex based around killing the new rats, pretty much the same campaing but reversed, with the same final battle for both factions just in different sides of the conflict.

I think that CA nailed it with few aspects of the update and made a very good Skaven DLC. However this rework is far from the gamechanger that the Greenskin update was for them.

Ca added some changes to growth and po that slightly slow down the game if your po is bad. Breakthrough to tier 3 is very important for all factions except Skaven, that now more than ever can out grow their neighbours if Player controled.

If you like Wood Elves and you like to stick around your trees playing passive, and you like to play lots and lots of battles and razing settlements then you might be interested in this.

If you like Skaven this is a must have.

If you dont play this 2 factions at all ignore the dlc, I wouldnt have bought it if I didnt like already both factions.

I personally enjoyed bulling Ai with both Lords, they have specific mechanics that set them apart and make them shred AI with ease, even in high dificulties. Both factions get advantages for playing in a more slow growing world, as they will get access to Higher tier units faster than others, or already have a huge headstart in the case of the Sisters of Twilight, easy campaings both, Wood Elves being harder of course, but still very powerfull, you can paint the map with them if you wish, even if they are no longer designed to do so.

There are more critical dlc to get than this one, unless you are a Skaven or WE player.

Great mechanics for Campaing even though the historical setting leaves great chunks of map controlled by single factions, the great variability in ownership over the provinces and the constant war makes this Total War a very enjoyable expirience.
Extraordinary Modding community with great overhauls and time setting changes such as Terminus: Imperium, Ancient Empires or Medieval Kingdoms 1212.
Many quality of life mods around, people have some usefull collections to make even the original setting more interesting.

Great dlc, generally the added cultures have strenghts and weaknesses that are remarkable and have an unique playstyle. Great expansions with Age of Charlemagne being one of the best campaing expiriences aviabale, very new player friendly in comparison to the vanilla campaing. If you are picking it up be sure to get either the briton or viking culture packs to have a enjoyable first campaing as most factions in vanilla are sorrounded by enemies and constant war, which can be overwhelming for new players, specially such complex factions like Western Roman Empire or the Huns.

CA should revisit this game and make official the import of Thrones of Britannia optimizations, which would fix 90% of the major stuttering and big battle problems that this game has.

Second best behind Medieval 2, and its clear successor in terms of modding community, only shadowed by the incredible rise of the Warhammer games that have a modding community equally strong , and even bigger. Graphics and effects hold up to this day and there are many great modded texture packs that increase quality and variety even more.

I recommend this game to people who have already played other total wars and dont mind a more challenging expirience, with extraordinarilly agressive AI only matched by Rome 2 recent dlc and patches ( that take many mechanics from Attila I might add).

In short great game, underrated by many because of the time period it covers and the fact its way to similar to Rome II in some aspects, but the improvements in battle mechanics, collision and politics makes this game very entertaining and fun to play.

its just really good, great modding community worth dlc and amazing campaings.

You will farm more than in farming simulator. Its cool though.

Lamentablemente este es el juego que mejor nos trae la sensación rpg del señor de los anillos a día de hoy. La warner se ♥♥♥♥♥ a hacer nuevos juegos ♥♥♥ un estilo, al menos similares en algun aspecto a este.

Dicho esto cada centimo que inviertas en él, sea o no en oferta merece la pena.

La ambientación, los personajes, la jugabilidad sobre todo, la gran variedad de armas y armaduras, el sistema de looteo y la gran estabilidad de su modo cooperativo lo convierten en un gran juego que lamentaras que se acabe tras las 10 -15horas que puede durarte su campaña. Luego su rejugabilidad es estupenda, más si lo haces ♥♥♥ amigos y probando diferentes configuraciones de armas y armaduras.

Si te gusta minimamente el señor de los anillos, necesitas este juego en tu biblioteca.

Si, los mods de pago se han quitado al fin, por ello, mi analisi vuelve a estar positivo, recomendado 100%, si tienes tiempo libre, y te gustan los rpgs, este es tu juego. 10/10 150 mods instalados y el juego es increible, bravo Bethesda, esperando ♥♥♥ ansias el The Elder Scrolls VI

Un gran juego, probe su version anterior el Dino Horde, me parecio bastante malo la verdad, pero ♥♥♥ esta version han creado un juego completamente nuevo, mas armas, mejores graficos, mas modos de juego, he quedado impresionado, por solo 79 centimos, a que esperais, bueno podeis esperar lo que querais por que es para siempre, obra maestra 10/10 y metascore tendria que revalorizar esta nueva version.

Grandisimo juego, ♥♥♥ un sistema de sigilo que pondra aprueba tus habilidades, si quieres mantener tu nombre limpio, prueba a no ser detectado nunca, o no matar a nadie, grandes retos ofrece este juego, asi como una trama de lo mas interesante.
Yo le doy un 10/10, juegazo si te gusta el sigilo, y si te gustan las matanzas tambien :p.
