Idea interesting, execution terrible. Balance non-existent, repetetive, combat chaotic yet bland and basic, teamwork non-existent. Not worth it even if it's free to play. I'll maybe come back to revisit it in the future to see if the game has improved or not, but right now it's a waste of time for me.

If you have friends to play with you should give this one a go. Me and my friends have a lot of fun playing. Lot of stories/moments we could talk about. The game itself is unique and brings out something new.

Spore was one of my childhood games and while I enjoyed the game...there was this feeling that there was just something missing. After seeing Spore Demonstration GDCe from 2005. It made me mad how much Electronic Arts has sabotaged yet another game, that had such a big potential. I always had a dream that maybe one day, there will be Spore 2 and it will just maybe be better. And here we are: Thrive the spiritual successor of Spore. While there is a long journey ahead of us, I am glad that I am a part of this journey to see this game getting closer and closer to the finish line. I wish the developers good luck and Godspeed. Thank you for your hard work and commitment.

Don't know how can you F up this badly but apparently the devs find the way to do so. This full game is trash compared to the beta that I played (which was amazing and fun). It is so unbalanced and unplayable I am still speechless... Like half of the game, you use a ton of attacks and do no damage at all. While you get one shoted every time. Other players can flamebreathe you from miles away, while you have to be up their ass to even do any dmg at all. I tried to give it multiple goes, but it's the same. The only satisfying thing is the flying. Even if It's free, this is not worth it. Not until they fix it.
