I hope i help anyone with their decison on this game and be happy forward on with their games. please read this review.i put good work into it and it wont take much of your time please and thank you for your cooperation.

this game is good.however this game is not for everbody.if your very patient,youll enjoy this game.if not you'll hate this game.the gameplay is pretty good and there are 44 characters.playing the game is like mixing colors in knowing what works & what doesnt and knowing how to use you character against others(training room is recommended for practice).the graphics looks good and there is matchmaking online. only thing i dont like focus.it feels it counters fundamentals and you can just easily focus.idk.its just me.ultras i feel people can just use it and the helath bars will be even again the next round is not affected at all by this except who wins.the super metter i feel does better because it carries over.ultra is spam it on an opening and youll get full damage without really earning it.it feels cheap

now the negatives(oh boy). this game is insanely precise in execution on almost everything and online is functional and can be good at times,but it handicaps you because the links for combos have to be pressed at such a precise moment, even on beginner things & fluidity can make you drop things and be inconsistent because it feels weird compared to offline(get friends with good conenctions,recommended)there is no story unless you care about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ arcade mode that is no where as good as mk9.no tutorial on how to play the game and many things and secrets the game wont tell you like option selects,plinking,etc.trials dont show you anything,just do moves.who are these characters,and barely any content to do in the game.its mostly barebones meaning all you have is endless, ranked, & training room.the other modes no one is using them.you have a replay channel,but since online is inconsistent sometimes,it can be hardly a prize.

the ♥♥♥♥ed up part is that in omega mode,its allot easier to do all these combos because you have a bigger window and more accuracy and consistency to press the button to continue the combos(sfv combos feel like omega).its not insanely precise and you dont have to wait for the animation to finish. trust me, these things that should be easy when you learn them are hard as ♥♥♥♥.ive been using cammy for a long time and i refuse to believe that the game tells me i cant do crouching jab, jab, strong into spiral arrow because of online.thats unnacepptable.another thing is that this game was supposed to be optimized just like the consoles,what i mean is that when you practice on pc and then go play on consoles(except ps3 because i think pc is similiar to it when i played on that console) where the tournaments are on, everything is delayed and feels weird when you do your things, but spend enough time, youll get use to it. i thought it was impossbile, but i actually ended up doing pretty well in a tourney from home with pc to tourney with xbox 360. i spoke with combofiend and he said it was already established or to stay that way by capcom themselves. thats why they didnt change usf4 to make it easier like omega mode or make the pc version exactly like the consoles. that is ♥♥♥♥ed up! another thing i should tell you is that when you go online to fight someone, there is no way for you to know if youll have a good connection or a bad one because the bar rating which is black to green bars and in between, fluctuates. in green bars you might have a bad or a good connection, red,orange,black,etc.

the only way to know the connection is to play that person once and sometimes its hard to really know just by one match because the game itself even offline is so precise already.this is why most tourney players dont consider online no where as steady as offline because its too easy to drop things and it constantly changes from the real thing which is offline where tournaments are played.you have to rely stuff like double tapping and p linking in order to not drop your moves instead of just simply doing the moves without doing such unneccessary execution! you feel your fighting the game itself rather than your opponent(like combofiend said lol!) there is no reason for you to make a game so hard when people will look for somthing hard to do in the game anyway! If i know how to do something i know how to do it!knowledge should always beat execution.ALWAYS BEATS EXECUTION!PERIOD.

Also if your looking for good tourney players like me and others who know what they are doing with option selects,secrets,expliots, tech, and everything,good luck trying to find them on pc(consoles less hard though) because its hard to find them and youll find mostly people who do random stuff because they dont know any better and you even lose to them because of bad connection.this sucks!also the point system and matchmaking is bs.you have people who are over 10000 BP and all they did was do random moves you cant react to online.the ranking and point system is inconsistent it makes dummies look like pros.if this doesnt tell you how inconsistent online is,idk what does. i sometimes get discconected in matches,from steam in training,and even for winning one round in 2 out of 3.even sometimes the game freezes in lag spikes while playing & also keeps putting me with people that have lower points than me when i put more skilled in my settings which is suppose to put ones with higher points than me.WTF!?I even wanted to be #1 cammy and train hard for it, but why should i go through these problems anyway if online couldve been better fixed? it like walking for hours instead of waiting for a car that shouldve picked you up,but didnt when they were supposed to. its disapointing cause i really wanted to do it.anyway if you want this game get it at the lowest sale if your not sure,but i wouldnt recommend it if you have console.this game might die most likely & sfv is around the corner(if you want,get sfv instead)even if you have the game on console and want it on pc,just play it on console already unless you really want it. not much is different

this is a fun game when you know what your doing,i just personally feel this game couldve been better with the things ive mentioned fixed, more things, easier inputs etc. i cant recommend this game to new people or even ones experienced from other games.there is just so much they have to do to get started like watch youtube videos on option selects,characters,etc.that its really a commitment your doing in order to be good at it.VERDICT: pc: 5/10 average console: 6/10 above average(pc has more problems online)i hope sfv is better than usf4 and improves on everything from the previous game and becomes great.get sfv if you dont want usf4,but if your going to get usf4,get it at least for the challenge.my experience was a struggle,but i wanted to try other games because i felt its good to have more knowledge from them and i was right.the decision to purchase the game is yours.the reason i dont give a thumbs up is because i dont reccomend this game at full price especially with dlc costumes because we all know capcom is so good at doing those things and whats mentioned,so its pretty fair i do that.Also i understand that things take time to get better at what your doing, but i think allot of people would agree with me that some things in the game didnt have to be what they are already.ive met people that have gotten frustrated over this game and left.those players i wouldnt balme them and they arent wrong either because capcom designed it that way.mkx and skullgirls are hard when you want to be really good at them,but they have allot better welcoming and comfort for those not that experienced.usf4 has nothing to offer to welcome outsiders.its horrible at tha area,but i guess that why sfvs looks like its going the way its going huh.(sigh) man i miss the old capcom.
