Just now looking a review in Portuguese and making the odd realization that I know enough Spanish and French and enough about sentence structure in various languages to understand quite a bit of it...though knowing ahead of time what its generally about probably helps too. Still, that's probably why some people can learn 7+ languages. The more you know, the easier the rest become.
