Very underrated game

"constantly updated" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I played this game and now I'm on the FBI's most wanted list, thanks devolver.

I decided to pick this game up without playing a FNAF game because they followed the same cookie cutter formula every time. I'm also not a big fan of horror games or the genre (I don't like getting jump scared.) This game, at it's core, is a very fun game. However, all of the bugs and glitches make this one of the most frustrating games I have ever played as well.

The amount of bugs is inexcusable for a game at this price, when I originally bought it I was expecting this to be a very polished game. The PS5 "state of play" trailers made this game look finished and well put together. (As I said before, I would've never ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a game like this ever, until I saw the trailers for this game. ) But either this game was made for consoles such as the PS5/Xbox Series X to experience it fully, or it's just a bad PC port. Since I do not have the 2000 dollars to cough up for a 3090 to put in gaming laptop, I'm assuming it's leaning towards the first option. But to my understanding, the game on the PS5 is only 25 gigs, as opposed to the PC version, which is 80 gigs. This confuses me, is there 25 gigs of game and the rest is a Bitcoin Miner or something? How is that possible? (If you know as to why this is, feel free to comment.)

The bugs are what makes me decide to not recommend this game, I will under no circumstance recommend to anyone an unfinished game, which this is. It makes me sad to do this, because as I said before, the game is really fun. But the amount of times I died to bugs is very infuriating. (At one point, there was a boss fight I had to restart 6 times because the character model for the boss was bugging out.) Also, this isn't a bug, but more of a complaint, the "Fazmap" is basically useless. Freddy states multiple times during the game that he "Marks the location on your fazmap" when he doesn't do this at all. So devs, you either made Freddy a liar, or you forgot to implement that into the game. You're going to have to figure out where you're going and what you have to do almost 100% of the time.

All in all, I really wanted to give this game a good score, I really did, but I cannot look away from all of it's faults and say that this is a good game in it's current condition. Is it fun? Yes. But it's also a buggy mess. If you're thinking about getting this game, get it when it's on sale, or when they start patching this game. Because nothing justifies the 40$ price tag they put on this game, absolutely nothing.

TLDR: Fun game, very buggy, not worth the money, get when on sale or when they patch this.

Jedi Fallen Order is not a perfect game by any means, but it has a great story, great cast, and great game play.

10/10. I haven't had this much fun playing a game with my friends in YEARS. Would recommend due to the fact of the replayability and the price. It's hard to beat a fun game at a price of only 5 dollars.
