I would have happily paid an additional $14.99 for all of the substantial updates, but they've all been free.

Playing other story based games,
Feels a lameness.
But nothing is quite as special,
As this gameness.

So I just finished episode 2, and I'd like to share my intitial thoughts.
This is a worthy sequel to previous two games. Where Season One's gameplay could slow down the story at times, and then Season Two's story wasn't always that great, The New Frontier finds a great balance. New characters are all very interesting, and brilliantly voice acted. And of course, the return of an older, badass Clementine is everything I've ever wanted.
As far as gameplay goes, if you've played a TellTale game, you know what to expect. Dialogue options and a couple QTEs every now and then.
But I absolutely love how the art style of TWD games has evolved over time. Slightly photorealistic with the same chalky pencil outlines for detail. S'great.
The only cons that I really have are there are some ugly low res animations/textures that pop up a few times, and sometimes the lip syncing isn't all that great.
Other than that, this is a great start to the third season of TWD.
