For someone who has been playing NMRIH 1 prepare to be disappointed in some way, some aspects of the game are similar to the first game but overall it is a completely different game, just like the extraction shooter games, this game is too grindy, also the one thing i disliked the most is that you can not play offline singleplayer and explore and experiment, you can only play multiplayer in an actual session, if you leave you die and lose your character.
Basic game, following the new trend of extraction based games, newer market i guess
Everything aside, game is alright although still needs some improvements with some minor bugs, a tutorial would be nice for newer players as well.
Melee system is a bit funny but familiar, realised thats its the same producers as chivalry which i dislike, mordhau way better gg go next

new edit, i decided to think of this game as a completely different game.
game is alright, not that bad, can solo missions but very difficult, recommend teamwork
was very hard initially because there is no tutorial whatsoever on what to do, following what the compass says just like in NMRIH 1 helps
game is still unfinished, plenty bugs with inventory and servers still (im being paired with people 180+ ping while i am 90+ping) looking forward to future updates

game is different from NMRIH 1 but not entirely different, concept of permadeath is interesting and adds realism, as if you are living the life of that survivor and when you die you gone, the pairing is a bit of a basket case, imagine you get paired up with people who dont know what to do and they all die, it will become basically impossible to finish the mission and bye bye to your hard work on your character, overall its not entirely all bad, in the character screen there are perks your character acquires when they level up, but i have also noticed when your profile level ups you seem to unlock (what i think is perks, same icon as character perks) so even though you lose your character and start a fresh you still have some permanent perks, although this feature isnt out yet along with the loadout update as of yet

what the others are saying is right its an early access game with plenty of bugs, however i guess the vast majority of NMRIH 1 players were expecting something different including me

im getting sucked in, im actually enjoying the game , 9/10 cant wait to see what the game is like in future updates great sex

damn this game too ez, 4 rounds in i am already max lvl for my survivor, just follow the chinese players around and they will carry GG

HAHAHAHAH brought my lvl 50 survivor straight to their death gg

new update, after 4 rounds i already have another maxed out survivor almost makes me not want to play to not lose progress
