It has a very chill, relaxing gameplay loop. While holding a feeling of unease as you weigh fishing during the night. Or waiting till day where its safer. I bought the complete edition at full price and got my full moneys worth out of it.

A loving homage to the original series. If you miss Portal, this is the perfect game to scratch that itch.

The story is wonderful, and surprisingly faithful to the source material. With fun, invigorating game play to boot. Very accessible if its your first rogue like.

Highly recommended playing even if your slightly curious
A really Innovative game with horror elements. Plenty of material for fan theories and speculation. And game play that is pleasantly challenging. Though it is a bit randomized in regards to cards you get. It provides plenty of opportunities to find/make superpowered cards. As well as power-ups to help give you an extra edge.

A great improvement over the first game. A bit buggy with some of the vehicles though.

A light, fun experience that i enjoyed greatly. Though i didn't play the original i did play its predecessor based of the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. I highly recommend playing it at least once. Especially if its on sale.

TLDR: Buy this game ONLY for the main campaign. Ultimate Edition perks are just a joke. And the online is stuffed with paywalls and pointless grinding even WITH the Ultimate Edition.

So i played Red Dead 2 on console before but never beat the main campaign. I never tried the online mode before, so i didn't buy the ultimate edition. When i got it on PC i wanted to give the online mode a shot. And oh my god, its such crap. I played the original Red Dead online, i played GTA online, this is easily the worst. Essentially you need premium currency to do most of the fun things. I.E. Bootlegging, Bounty hunting, even selling collectible items you find scattered across the map. Its all locked behind a paywall of 15-25 gold bars. And unlike GTA online where you can just spend a day to grind out that weeks triple XP missions and get plenty of money. In this game the most you can get by doing basic missions is 0.38 gold bars. Yeah, you get decimals called "nuggets" that turn into gold bars when you earn 100 of them. However just like with GTA online you get that big payout if you run down the clock. Wasting more of your time and energy till you just break down and drop an extra $20.00 IRL for just 50 gold bars. At this point i just play the game for the main campaign and to play poker online with the people since thats about all i can do. The amount of grinding in this game is ridiculous. And is just a blatant cash grab to do things you can do in the main game for free. Im just waiting till they put poker behind a paywall at this point.

TLDR: This game is HEAVY with RPG mehcanics and HARD level grinding. With no hooks to really keep you interested.

I have played the major Assassins Creed games since the start. I can easily say there are two Assassins Creed games i really didnt like: Revelations, and now Origins. After playing though Syndicate on the PS4, waiting to get this game for the PC. I read reviews about it being a bit grindy and shrugged them off. I mean, they said the same for Syndicate but i never really faced a wall where i couldn't do things. In this game though, it feels like a major step backward. The fighting animations arnt interesting or unique, the characters dont have any real personality to them, and the stealth feels less rewarding and a waste of time compared to charging in head first and just mopping the floor with them.

In fact its so forgien to the first game that it took me playing this to realize that this game is basiclly The Witcher 3. From the multiple weapons, the way you interact with the world, and even the hard level walls themselves. It was like Ubisoft saw The Witcher 3, saw what it did, and tried to copy it with no effort put into it. At least in The Witcher when your at a level disadvantage you have oils, or potions to help level the playing field and feel like you have a fighting chance. in this game if you are even three, JUST THREE LEVELS LOWER than your opponent then your screwed. Your only two options are to run, or get instantly downed in two attacks. So you basiclly have to run around the world, complete boring side quests, and collect items. Or pay for the quick level up, the option the game actually want you to take.

And in my realization of this game i realized Syndicate was basiclly ripping off things from the Batman Arkham games. But where they shined was having a good combat system, actually interesting and funny side characters, and the fact the whole story happend more or less on a whim. Even the RPG elements were there, but far less prevalent. Because it didnt feel like the level wall was there to hinder you. There was a clear path that gave a natural flow to it. And you never felt like you had to go out of your way to get geared up for the next bad guy. Here its so blatant that im tempted to put the game down entirely instead of wasting a full day grinding in limited areas.

If thats your bread and butter then have at it: as for me, i feel this is an easy pass in the game series.
