Hello, I like to write reviews for games I feel are worthy of a review for either negative or positive. With that being said I think it's best to give my honest review of the game so far.

Do I recommend this game? YES!! Here is why I think you should take a look at this game.

- Lets start off with the character creator- the games character creation system is very well put together with all the things that you customize it's very fun. My only criticism is that the presets are all the same thing slightly. You can change it by customizing and playing 3 hours in the character creation system. But I think more presets would be nice. ALSO WARNING your character does not save if you plan on switching servers. Just keep that in mind.

- Combat and kinda gameplay elements- this game with the melee combat is amazing the animations are fluid, the weapons feel weighty and overall I wouldn't expect a free to play game to have this much attention to detail in it's elements. It's not just the melee combat that feels good, movement in the water feels organic. Gun play in the game I feel could be better, there is some issues I personally find with it such as it not feeling quite right. There are two gun types that feels really good and that is the shotguns and hunting rifles. Those weapons feel really good to me anyway. The crafting system and getting materials for crafting is very fair and isn't super grindy which for a causal player like myself I love it. There is even little robots you can get that will get resources for you so you can enjoy other aspects of the game. Speaking of which.

The world- The world and aesthetic of the game is so different from the typical survival game formula and I love it, like this is personal basis for sure but I am so sick of all the cookie cutter survival games with the settings and what not. I really enjoy the visuals of the game and whole world just feels lived in and it isn't dry. The one downside is that there is always bases everywhere but if you find a spot where there isn't really any bases it's very nice. Overall I just like the world it's cool and different. There is some elements of cookie cutter survival game in this game but it's not that bad.

Base Building- The base building I wish there was more cosmetic options for the building materials personally like there is wallpapers and stuff. Some other options that are locked behind a paywall to get cool skins (which I did pay for) I just wish there was more free things. However if you like building houses in the sims this feels pretty much the same and there is a free camera so you get every angle. Which is so helpful.

Story- The story from what I have played so far is pretty good I have no complaints really cinematics are really cool, I really like the soundtrack in the game. I am not that far in with the story though so I can't give it a full rating but so far I am not complaining.

My overall thoughts on the game and response to other criticism:

Overall I think I would rate the game a solid 8/10 I like it a lot there is some things I wish that were improved but it's not making me not want to play the game. I think the game is great and fun mainly for a causal player who likes survival games but hates the grind. This game just feels fair to players like myself. There is a lot of concerns people have from the ToS & EULA but if you actually read it. It only affects Asian countries so you should be fine if your playing literally anywhere else.

Anyway if you made it this far in my review your probably hating your life for reading this but these are my thoughts on the game. Also if you find it helpful give it a rating so I can find validation for writing this. :)

NEW EDIT: The community is so strong it affected the PSN link making it no longer required. This community has come together once more. FOR SUPER EARTH!! BECOME A HELLDIVER!

EDIT: The game it's self is still amazing. However Sony has decided to require all players to link a PSN account for "security purposes". If you know the history on Sony, then you know it's best not to engage. Do your homework and don't be blind. However, if you don't care then the game is fun.

This game is truly a cinematic masterpiece; like imagine Halo and Tomorrow War plus Terminator. Like all of those had a child that is this game. I LOVE IT. I think everyone who takes the chance on this will not regret it. Sometimes the servers go down because they can't support the amount of players. xD but it's an amazing game.

This game, may seem weird to people looking at it from the outside for the first time. I have to admit it is kinda strange playing the characters that you do. A bunch of teenagers and then also you would think that the game is lame. For not being an action game or something more and the art style also might get to you. However this game is simply amazing.

This game has an amazing story the story telling in this game and just really how different it is. It's very moving and I actually even had a tear in my eye at the end. I am truly impressed with this game and it's story telling. The game is roughly 7 hours long...but it's the best damn 7 hours I have played since RDR2. I strongly recommend that you buy this game and play through the story. You will not regret it at all, it's just fun, brutal and a few jump scares. I had a smile almost the entire time I was playing.

Same grind, same toxic community, you know it's good so just buy it already.

So it’s a fun game, for the 1 hour I could play. I’d say just make sure you can run the game. But not just run the game make sure that the edition you buy works with your headset. The only negative I had btw. Other than that the hour I played was really fun and gruesome. My only concern is post launch for all of you that are thinking about getting this game. From what I’ve played and seen on YouTube there ain’t much to do after you beat the game.
