Sheer, unadulterated, gas. This is the Giga Chad meme given form. The new patch has dealt with some of the more glaring problems, especially Vanguards killing you 95% of the time if you are alone and Thousand Son's enemies being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The game has gotten much easier, which is a bit of a shame. However, I refer you to the first sentence regardless.

I was enjoying this game up until I learned that the ship you get in the start of the game is the ship you are stuck with FOR THE REST OF THE GAME. Why?? Just why? Half the fun of the table top game is getting a cool fleet of super exotic and interesting ships and upgrading to the point where you have a Star Galleon or Battlecruiser. I looked at the upcoming DLC only to see that there are no plans to add additional ships to the game, just more options for your garbage little escort frigate. This a MASSIVE missed opportunity for this game and needs to rectified as soon as humanly possible until then I feel as thought a quarter of the game is missing.

I love this game except for one aspect. For some ungodly reason, the developers seem to not want you to do ship to ship combat in single player. It used to be' Step 1: Get a Ship, Step 2: Get a gun, Step 3 Attach gun to ship, Step 4: Fire gun at other ship. Now you have to spent 15 minutes programming your guns in order to fire anything at all. Even then, half your guns wont fire and the others won't reload after firing once, even in creative mode. Ramming is also so much less satisfying then it used to be. Before you could smash a large ship into another ship and they would scythe each other in half or get lodged within one another with debris flying in an extremely cathartic manner. Nowadays, even if you ram a ship at max velocity it will just bump off like you got into a fender bender. The destruction physics in this game is extraordinary and I just can't understand why with every update they make it harder and harder to destroy anything. I never got into this game for the building, I saw videos in 2015 of ships getting blown to pieces and I knew I had to get it. So do not get into this game if you are like me, you will only be disappointed.

This game WAS fantastic. However, ever since Man the Guns Paradox has ruined this game. Every single update after that DLC has made the game worse. The fuel economy, intelligence, trains, supply depot system (to an extent), tank designing etc. makes it practically impossible to play any other nation than Germany, USSR, or U.S. If you are going to buy this game DO NOT get the DLC after Man the Guns. DO NOT play any game version after that update and you will enjoy this game 100x more than if you played the most recent version of this game with all the DLC.

This game is everything that is annoying about Verdun and Tannenburg mixed together. You are constantly being blown up, you can't exist for more than .35 milliseconds before dying, the level up system makes it so that you will pretty much never get the gun you want and you will be murdered by that gun over and over again by someone who has played longer than you. This feels more like an MMO in terms of progression and that is a HORRIBLE call for a shooter. Bring back the Verdun progression and you will make this game at least playable. I mean who's brain dead idea was it to have a level up system in order to unlock a challenge that then unlocks the gun. Fire that guy immediately.
