I lost my friend to an unexpected addiction—Satisfactory. What started as a simple game to unwind soon became his entire world. At first, it was just a few missed calls, then weeks of silence. He’d say, "Just optimizing my production line," but I could see he was slipping away, caught in the endless cycle of factory layouts and conveyor belts. We joked about it, tried to pull him out, but the game had him too deep. His eyes, once full of life, now reflected nothing but the cold glow of machines. In the end, I lost him, not to distance or time, but to a game that consumed him.
