October 2020 - With the progress already made... this game has the potential and the right studio behind it to back it. Right now as it stands the game is in early access so the wonky camera, glitches and choppiness of cut scenes does not surprise me. this is a game in its raw unfinished form and will need time to polish. as i said no one is more capable and enthusiastic then Larian Studios.

The best way we early buyers can help is by contacting Larian studios and reporting any bugs and glitches we find. Obviously some components of the game have not been worked on yet but everything in good time

besides that the game is fantastic and beautiful and fun! I especially appreciate the option to go into turn order outside of combat and all of the side charachters are very likable except for that wizard dude. (idk thats just how i feel lol cant like everyone, thats life)

August 2023 - (Edit) was I right or was I right? Never had a doubt in my mind when it came to Larian. The hard work and quality product this amazing team has put out has blown expectations out of the water. I'm still playing the game and have not finished yet with my friends (as we are treating this like a regular DnD campaign where we meet up once or twice a week to play but my God the game has everything a person who loves RPG games could ask for. Its been such a great journey following the progress that was made with the game the wait was long for me not to keep playing the game and spoiling stuff for myself but the Panels from Hells were so entertaining it kept me excited for the entire 3 years waiting. I will update with a final review once i complete my first play through.

01/10/2024:

Forgot to update this but i did finish the game about 3 months ago and my experience was awesome. I really made sure to do everything I can in my first play through but have been doing other playthroughs. Even though I love the Game i did notice act 3 lacks a lot of content compared to its act 1 and act 2 counterparts and seems much more buggy. overall I think the game is fantastic but ACT 3 needs a lot of work to comparatively provide the same experience the earlier parts of the game provides. hoping to see a massive update on the one year anniversary in august
