My first impressions are pretty good. I will update this review with more details once I have finished the tutorial.
Edit: Well that took a while. The game kind of just ended after the tutorial. It still let's you grind stuff if you want to, but it doesn't really feel like the game has a proper ending. At least I got my money's worth after a 1100 hour long introduction I guess.

If you liked Hitman 2016 you will also like Hitman 2. It improved various mechanics but at the core it is still the same, a bit like a level pack. So if you are not a fan of social stealth or replaying missions this game will not be for you. For everyone else this will be a worthwhile experience.

Also something to keep in mind: This game comes with always online DRM

A great game that has aged surprisingly well. Kind of.
It has an amazing Soundtrack, horrible controls, increadible gameplay, unacceptable graphics, good memes and predicted 9/11. Deus Ex was immersive, even without good visuals or good voice actors or just about anything that you would call immersive, it simply was. And it felt like you actually were in the game world. A game world in which even homeless men have more character than the average AAA Protagonist.

For better graphics, balancing and gameplay you should install the GMDX mod.

A must have for fans of 80's music.
