I have 106 hrs on the original version of DS. I love the game, the gameplay. It is one of my favourite game of all time.

But here are some problems I have with it...

anyone else felt a bit disappointing with Death Stranding story when it could have been much more amazing?

These are some points I'd like to point out when I saw them setup at the early point of the game and never went anywhere.

1. The Introduction of Chiral Network - Die Hardman said 'it will bring back 10 thousand years of human history, bring dinosaurs back to life, connect us to the past' First I heard this, I imagined when we connected more regions, we could go back to the past, pull objects from past events back to life but in the game it's just a 0 PING Internet connection and learning a bit about the first Death Stranding.

2. No Face-to-Face Conversation, only Hologram - With this mechanics, the game wants you to feel lonely, a long journey alone. But we still contacted with many people and there are also Mules everywhere, I thought they're going to surprise us with something like Nier: Automata *SPOILER* that every humans are already dead or maybe something like talking to someone in the past or future but this just felt like an excuse for cutting developing time

3. The Introduction of H๐m๐ Demens - Die Hardman said 'They are a criminal organization with no clear leader, they will do everyhting including engineer a Voidout. They wiped out Bridges 1 and capture Emily' I mean except from the cutscenes they are basically Mules with rifles. They built up this group like they could manipulated BTs or have access to Beaches. I felt so scared when I thought about how could my throwing bag skill win against the H๐m๐ Demens but when I found them I wasn't even sure if they were Mules or them

There are some more like the time they built up how could we cross the sea to Edge-Knot City or traveling by sea across the Ground Zero.

I love Death Stranding and its complicated story but I wish if Kojima didn't care how complicated the story would be, he could go all out and twisted the story into a lot of abstract, mind blowing outcomes.

I finished the story long ago but I felt something in my heart that wasn't whole so I thought back until I found these subjects. What are your thought on the topic, do I miss something?

all missions are more generic, bland than Vermintide 2 but still a good Co-Op game with a very good representation to Warhammer 40k universe. (I still love Space Hulk Deathwing aesthetic more)

can easily be played for 20 hrs. per class

after all the updates, still got multiple quest breaking bugs. incredibly slow story and no engaging gameplay to help with the slowness. after the 12th day, got another quest breaking bug with the mayor's quest... I'm done.

the best free game on steam

if you like Looter Shooter, of course this is a great game for you

if you don't like Looter Shooter, you can also use a save editor to use weapons you like in the level you like and if it is not too over leveled, it will still be fun to play (I played it like Doom 2016)

so it's a win-win situation <3

better dungeon system and summoning system than Elden Ring...

best multiplayer experience <3

still looks good after 10 years <3
